Dr. Manbir K Takhar, MD

Takhar manbir is extremely unskilled and uncaring when it comes to the care of any patients. With discussing your Health concerns, Treatments, Follow-Up visits Etc. I would Strongly suggest seeking out another Ligitimate Primary Care Physician. She does not communicate well and, will try and take credit for other Physicians in her office doing a far better job than her.

My family and I have all seen Dr. Sekhon for years. He is an excellent listener. He is emphatic and takes time to respond to questions.

Dr Takhar is a wonderful doctor and i recommend her to everyone I know. She is smart, thorough, and caring. You can get your blood work right there in her office. they also have an urgent care for walk ins next door. very well run office and will call you promptly with your lab results. I have been a patient for nearly five years. every experience has been top notch. do not hesitate to come here.

Dr. Takhar was very nice and extremely knowledgeable. She knows her stuff and got me in and out quickly and efficiently. Really like Germantown Primary Care Associates and their staff, too!

Me and my other family members have been going to Doctor Takhar for some time now. My opinion is that she is a great doctor. Besides being very professional and knowledgeable, she also has a very pleasant personality. I am really happy to have her as my PCP.

The Indian girl at the front office has no people skills. I am not sure if she is related the Doc or not but she should be moved to back office. When I approached the front desk, the first words out of her mouth was "take a seat". No hello/how are you. She did this two other patients who came in after me and they were just as taken back as I was. This will definitely influence my decision making to make the next appointment with this practice.

We scheduled an appointment on Wednesday morning 9:30 AM. We never got a reminder call. On Wednesday morning at 8AM we got a call from her office that she wouldn't be available at 9:30 AM so we should come at 10 AM or 2 PM. Since I have already taken half day leave, we agreed to 10 AM appointment. When we reach the office at 9:55 AM we were told that she is not available. Either we should re-book an appointment or see another doctor. This is highly unprofessional of these guys. First they should have called us if the doctor was running late. They did not call us and moreover the staff was not apologetic at all. They were behaving as if this is normal. We have seen many doctors in this area and never found any of them to be this unprofessional. I don't know about the doctor since we have not met her, but would not recommend any one because of her staff.

Dr. Takhar spends quality time with me and explained everything in great details. She diagnosed my problem accurately when I had been to my primary care physician and was not able to get better. The staff in this office is very friendly.
