Mandeep Kaur Dhindsa

I have filed a complaint regarding Mandeep Dhindsa to the Mental Health Commission Board and the State Board of Nursing. I came to this appointment for a routine lab review, but what followed was one of the most disturbing and unprofessional healthcare experiences I’ve ever had. Mandeep immediately veered off course, turning the visit into an unsolicited and aggressive mental health evaluation. Within less than 20 minutes—and with no prior knowledge of me or my history—she diagnosed me with anxiety, depression, and Borderline Personality Disorder based on a generic questionnaire and vague personal questions. When I raised valid concerns about the accuracy and ethics of such a hasty diagnosis, she dismissed me as "defiant" rather than responding with any clinical explanation. Her tone was cold and condescending, and she even made a sexist, inappropriate comment implying women "use moodiness as an excuse." This is not only unprofessional, it's deeply offensive—especially in a mental… health setting. Worse, she documented our session inaccurately in my medical chart, misrepresenting what I said and ignoring key context. This type of false recordkeeping is not only unethical but dangerous. After the appointment, I consulted with both my licensed therapist (PhD) and a licensed clinical social worker. Both were shocked by what I described and confirmed that her conduct was not just clinically unsound—it was reckless. Diagnosing anyone with a complex mental health disorder based on a superficial interaction is malpractice, plain and simple. If I were someone more vulnerable or struggling with suicidal thoughts, this interaction could have caused serious harm. Mandeep’s lack of empathy, misuse of psychiatric assessments, and careless approach to patient care make her a danger to anyone seeking mental health support. She should not be practicing. I strongly urge others to avoid her and seek care from professionals who actually listen, respect boundaries, and follow ethical standards. She is a pompous woman that somehow slipped through the vetting process - as it is clear she has a serious mental health disorder. She does not care if she does harm.
