Dr. Mandi Beman, MD

She told me within 30 seconds of entering the room, that while she believes I have a debilitating chronic illness, the pain I experience is all in my head, and that since my condition is chronic, I should be used to it be now and never should have come to see her in the first place. She proceeded to ignore me when I asked questions about the muscle relaxer she was prescribing me (because my fake pain that's all in my head is making my pelvic floor very tense) and when I saw what it was on the screen and told her I cant take valium due to work as well as med interactions, she continued to ignore my concerns. She was rushed and wouldn't answer question. A few hours after my visit, my pharmacy had filled the prescription she wrote. Picked it up, and for some unknown reason she gave me a single dose of an abortifacient whose only other use is to treat stomach ulcers, and definitely not a muscle relaxant. Find a different doctor.

Dr. Beman is an amazing Doctor. She really listens to everything I have to say which means a lot to me. She is always very caring and compassionate at each visit which makes it easy to talk to her about my questions and concerns. She is also extremely knowledgeable and trustworthy. You can really tell she loves what she does. I have been seeing her for the last 3 years and I will not go to anyone else for my gynecologic care. I highly recommend her as a provider. Everyone at her office is very friendly and welcoming from the front desk staff to her medical assistant to her nurse, which makes me feel very comfortable.

They determined I had a UTI and sent in an antibiotics prescription. This would have been wonderful if they had actually called to inform me. Instead, I was in pain for days, continually calling them waiting on results. I could have been better days ago. I trusted them to take care of my health and they couldn't even be bothered to call me. Abhorrent business practice no matter what the type of business. I needed help and they neglected me.. ignored me. They input my IUD but I will most certainly be having another doctor's office do the check-up. The worst patient care I have ever received or even seen.

I first chose Dr. Beman because her services were covered by my insurance. I was very pleased with Dr. Beman's friendliness, professionalism, knowledge and bedside manner. My appointment was very swift. I appreciate the promptness.

I would recommend Mandi Furlow to my family and friends. She is a good listener and knows all the latest treatment options for common obgyn concerns.
