She is dedicated to treating everyone the way that they want to be treated.Dr. Mandy received her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from Loma Linda University School of Dentistry. Upon graduation, she received the Compassionate Patient Care award. Dr. Mandy taught as an Assistant Professor of Restorative Dentistry and Clinical Instructor at Loma Linda University.Dr. Mandy continues to pursue quality patient by studying advanced dental concepts with some of the most respected dentists in the nation. Dr. Mandy advanced her dental implant knowledge …with an Implant Externship Program through the Stony Brook School of Dental Medicine in New York. Her extensive dental training and experience allows her to treat and understand each of your specific needs. I believe I have found the best Dentist in the Chattanooga area! I have always been very anxious and dreaded going to the dentist, even just to get my teeth cleaned. I explained this during my first visit with Dr. Shearer, and she listened. She sat there and listened to all of my stories that had lead me to visiting her. I have had several bad experiences, and I thought I would end up in dentures due to not being able to sit for any work. Dr. Shearer went over several options, and we came up with a plan that worked for me and my budget, together! To help with my nerves, I had the laughing gas and noise canceling head phones with music they have. It worked! Thanks to Dr. Shearer, I believe I will be able to hold on to all my teeth.

I had a wonderful experience at the Dentist. I never thought I would say that because I have always been very nervous to have anyone work in my mouth. During my appointments with Dr. Mandy, she took the time to answer all my questions and concerns and made me feel comfortable. The work she did was also very gentle and painless. You can tell she tries to keep her patients at ease by the little touches in her office, like the heated massage chairs. Very nice touch. Her staff is also friendly and helpful. I have finally found a dentist I can trust.
