I refer to Dr. Chakka as The Magic Man. He is the most skilled at his specialty of anyone in the area, and probably more. Great bedside manner, and spends time to explain the condition and the treatment. He is the only one that I trust to take care of my heart.

He had no time for me. Literally. He acted irritated when we asked questions and finally just made an excuse to leave. He may have won awards and may be very good but his patient/doctor relationship is horrible.

He went through my diagnoses and my plan of care which involved a surgery in 2 weeks if the new heart med didn't work and when found out I didn't have insurance he told me to follow up in 3 months and to go back to work (I'm a stay at home mom but have a nursing degree) so I could get insurance and then we would do surgery. It was urgent until he realized I had no insurance. Very disappointed.

Dr. Chakka is very skilled, we felt comfortable with him from the very first visit. He has an awesome bedside manner, and explains things so that his patient can understand.
