Worst experience a cancer patient could ask for. A total disregard to MY concerns about a group of reactions I'm experiencing,dismissing them without even a hesitation in his, I'm holler then thou approach and demeanor. Talks down with unnecessary sarcasm and disrespect.Refuses to listen to your concerns and brushes you off without even a 'Good Day'. Wouldn't recommend to my worst enemy!

My mother is in her nineties and recently needed to visit a doctor who specialized in issues concerning the loss of blood. Never have I been in the presence of a physician who made it so obvious that she was not valued as a person not was I valued as her daughter. Decisions were made without any discussion with previous cardiologist record and previous patient history. My mother and I will never request his help in anything ever again.

My experience with Dr. Dhawan has been very positive through my examinations and diagnosis. He is very thorough and very understanding of my receiving of a cancer diagnosis. We will soon decide on a treatment program and I have confidence in his professionalism and ability to handle my treatment. I will seek no second opinions.

Dr. Dhawan is excellent. The girls at the check-in desk are rude and often inefficient. One time they forgot to turn in my paperwork and I waited 90 minutes to have blood drawn. I got no apology. If I ask how long, they say, "Don't know." They talk to older patients like they are children. People who go to see an onconlogist are very sick and need to be treated with compassion and respect. I think the check-in staff take advantage of the fact that patients are too sick to do anything about their rudeness.

I was referred to Dr Dhawan for cancer and have been on some form of chemotherapy or radiation over the last few years. I am still alive when other doctors told me treatment was futile. Although he keeps me waiting longer than other doctors, I do like the convenience of seeing him in Minden or here. I live in Arcadia.I have also seen his partner Dr Walker in Homer and Springhill. He is now seeing patients in Jonesboro and I may be able to see him there.
