Dr. Manish Bhagwan Sawlani, MD

Dr. Sawlani was my father’s primary care physician for over a decade. During my father’s final hospitalization, he failed our family in every way that mattered. He arrived late both evenings after we waited all day with no updates and no plan. When we asked directly what was happening, he said “the plan is happening” and walked away to examine my father. His communication was scattered and contradictory. He would jump between options, contradict himself, and leave us more confused than before he walked in. He never once sat down with us and explained where things stood. He never coordinated with the other specialists to make sure we had the full picture. We had to chase every single answer ourselves. He was nearly impossible to reach, and the nursing staff had the same problem. When things deteriorated, he blamed our family in front of my dying father despite the fact that we had documented evidence of everything we had done to try to get him the right care. He operates on ego. He… is dismissive, condescending, and has no bedside manner. He made an already devastating situation significantly worse. A physician who cannot lead, communicate, or advocate for a critically ill patient has no business being in that role. We do not recommend him under any circumstances for serious or complex patient care.

This doctor has no bedside manner and is rude to patient family members because he cannot explain anything properly. He keeps loudly speaking over people's questions and evading the direct questions. He thinks it's OK to yell at patients and their families. BEWARE and do your research! He is not very qualified with an EGO bigger than the sky.

Dr Sawlani is the most caring individual that I know. He is extremely interested in helping people get the best possible care. The world would be a better place with more Dr. Sawlani's.

The most honest doctor around!!

I have waited in his office a few times, BUT i would wait all day long for the care he gives. I trust this man (literally) with my life and he's one of the only reasons I am alive.
