Dr. Manisha Mahadev Desai, MD

I took my grandaughter in as she had experienced a cough for months and was exposed to strep recently. Three times I had visited Dr. Desai and expressed concern over her cough. She had nothing to say except, "Give her Claritin," which I do daily, and, "Don't give her milk." This time I asked for a strep test and she refused. I had asked for a flu shot and never received one. Friends of mine whose children are Desai's patients report she's great. But they have private insurance. My girl's on Medicaid as we have temporary custody of her. Hmmm, do I smell discrimination or is it a Medicaid scam?

I have had 3 kids (new patients) needing appointments fast and each time I called they got me in the next morning! Without ever even having to express the urgency. Dr. Desai is smart, beautiful and loving. You have a question.. She has the answer. Highly recommend her.

Ther office staff was wonderful, allowed me to reschedule on short notice and got me back in in less than a week, Doctor was very nice, my 5 yo loved her and she takes freat care when examining, she is very thourough and also takes great care to examine my infant as well. I would highly reccommend her. She answers questions in terms that are easily understandable as well

Went in early. Filled out papers and such, the lady in the front was having a personal conversion on the company phone,while texting on her own phone. Then the assistant who gave my son a shot was very careless. Its a pediatrician office, a place for kids to come when feeling well and sick and she was rude. Just stuck my son with the needle and put the band aid next to the shot NOT on it but near it. So it was quite an experience. I don't recommend going but a lot of doctors here are full of clients.. So we didn't have a choice. But i won't be going back, I'll be traveling 11 hours back home to do my sons doctor visits thanks to these well trained and friendly assistance(sarcasm)!

I loved how she walks in the door and instantly knows whats wrong with my son! She always gives the best way to treat him and the proper meds for it. I just wish she would be more of a people person, because sometimes it seems kind of rude that she's in and out in only a few seconds. I wait for like an hour every visit for just a few seconds of her time.

The staff is excellent, but Dr. Desai is not very good a diagnosing the problem!! I will never use her again!!
