Dr. Patel made me feel heard. I did not feel like I had wasted her time or should not have come in for such a minor problem.

Dr. Patel provided the very best discussion of my health problems and proposed treatment. She was very prepared, even before she saw me. It was excellent and she provided great written 'Notes' in 'My Chart'. Excellent! I have complete confidence In her.

Provider literally saved me she was amazing

Dr. Patel does not check patient histories. She recently advised x-rays that she had previously ordered and whose results are in my patient record. When this was pointed out to her she replied that she "sometimes" checked patients' records before making a diagnosis. She's also unusually late, more so than the now usual delays. One gets the feeling that she can't be bothered to take sufficient time with her patients. I'm looking for a new physician.

Patel clearly does not like patients to ask questions of any kind ie. whether they are about information you have read or heard about or are about your medical situation specifically. Now that I am moving to another doctor and have picked up my records to transfer, I have learned that she actually considers asking questions to be rude behavior. This doc says she works full time, but goes home every day at 3 PM and is only covered in an "emergency" (whatever that means). I had an emergency (sudden onset cystitis, called and left my cell number at 2:15 PM.for a return call. My call was not returned and when I made contact again, no doc was available to attend to my urgent medical need at 4:30 PM on a Wed.Keep scrolling as there is more commentary after an open space.Patel gave me approval for an excercise program that she knew nothing about I subsequently found out. Now nearly three months later I am still dealing with the fallout from the five exercise sessions with active medical… issues, appts. and tests continuing.In summary I could cite other negatives, but will just recommend finding another doctor unless you want one who is robotic, does not like questions and is really pre-occupied with leaving at 3 PMto take care of her children which is fine if there is another doctor available to cover for you. Unfortunately this is not the case.
