Dr. Manjesh Lingamurthy, MD

The guy that gave negative review is a total ignoramus. He claims he is in the medical field but knows nothing about it. We are at Burger King here folks!! If a doctor has to take a phone call, he is not talking to his bookie or his mistress. This is serious work and medical professionals take it SERIOUSLY. This guy should be fired as a patient. and for the records, that is why we are called "patients", we need to be patient. Dr. Lingamurthy is a great doctor and should be treated with the respect he deserves. We as patients cannot possibly begin to understand the complexity of the medical situations, so it is not our job to judge or give stupid reviews

We saw Dr. Lingamurthy yesterday for the 1st time and he was very honest, forward and dealt with the facts of options that were offered. I found him to be compassionate and a no nonsense diagnostician. Felt very comfortable during the visit and feel that we have an excellent Dr. looking out for my husband. Mrs. Facciolo

I've seen Dr. Lingamurthy two times and both have been terrible experiences. The last time he called me in to discuss test results. I waited 2-1/2 hours in the waiting room and 20 minutes in the exam room. No apology or explanation -- as if my time wasn't valuable or important. He then took a phone call while talking to me in the exam room, so I left. I've worked in the medical field for twenty years and that type of behavior is inexcusable. An oncologist has to have a certain skill set, including: empathy, compassion, and humility. Dr. Lingamurthy is lacking in all three. The scheduling issues can be fixed at the managerial level, but the other three problems cannot be fixed; you either have it or you don't. I think he needs to take a step back and re-evaluate his calling. He's better suited for the operating room where the patients are asleep. He may need to give up some of his duties, i.e., residency program at the hospital, to alleviate some of the stress he is under. Nurses seem… stressed as well. A managerial overhaul is certainly in order. They should be aiming for an 18 minute wait time (the national average) or maybe a simple explanation or apology. None was offered. I wish Dr. Lingamurthy well and hope he can find peace and balance in his life.

He is a very good doctor

This was a terrible experience, none of the office staff have a clue what's going on! I had to call repeatedly to get referrals and there was zero communication between the office and the surgeon. I would not recommend this office to anyone who expects an educated staff and wants to get results

The drs cbc test machine give incorrect info. This machine by law has to be cleaned and celebrated daily. Manatee hospital and moffitt cancer centers both have given me the same results, almost 2.0 points lower in my hemoglobin count. All within 2 days of dr Linhamurthys results. Requiring transfusions of up to 2units of blood.

Phenomenal oncologist. Very professional and knowledgeable. Ignore the 1 star reviews; they are from a patient that is upset with insurance and needed to misdirect their frustration somewhere. If you meet Dr. L, you’ll quickly realize he is 5 stars. I couldn’t ask for a better physician to treat cancer. He’s one of the best. And if you are searching for an oncologist, I wish you the best on your road to recovery.

I am thankful to find a great Dr. , like Dr. Lingamurthy. He and his staff are kind and personable. They take their time with their patients and really listen to their concerns. I highly recomend this office to my friends, family and anyone looking for this type of Dr. Sincerely, Teresa

My Physician referred me to a hemotologist Dr. Lingamurthy - who is approved on my insurance plan. Blood was collected and sent to Genoptix. I had no knowledge of or control over Dr. Lingamurthy sending the blood to a lab that was not covered by my insurance. Now – I am facing a bill for $6,250. I appealed – but the claim was denied. They should have told me this would not be covered, or used a lab that would be covered.

I feel very fortunate to have found Dr. Lingamurthy again at his new office in Boca Raton. He is always warm, friendly and compassionate. The friendly office staff doesn't hurt either. Thank you for being there for me.
