Dr. Manjit S. Bains, MD

Go to another Dr. He is arrogant and rude. He shouldn't be allowed to practice. No ethics or morals.

I am really not sure what those that had poor experiences are referring to? If your giving him a tough time he probably would cone off as difficult. You are the patient HE is the Dr. He has treatd some very high profile patients. He is an excellent Dr so listen to him and be an excellent patient. Unfortunately he was not able to help me with my stage IV met melanoma, but it was not from a lack of trying. While performing surgery on my lung he notice several very small nodules throughout the entire lung. His decision to stop was the right one. I entered a trial that failed(for me) but a year later after a lot of sick nights from meds I had a clean scan! I thank Dr Bains for making the right choice.

My fathers experience with Dr. M. Bains has always been one of excellence. Each and every person who works with Dr. Bains is professional, helpful and friendly. Dr. Manjit Bains is one of the finest doctors that I know. His easy going manner, combined with years of experience, makes you feel comfortable and assured that you are receiving the best treatment possible for whatever you are there for. I can't express enough gratitude and how grateful I am for my fathers health/successful surgery. Thank you Dr. Baines. I must also mention one of his staff members, Amy, who is a blessing. She was able to help me make all appointments, surgery, followups with no frustration, making the journey we were on so much easier. This brings peace of mind to patients. Thank you Amy!!! Wonderful and professional team!!

Run, don't walk, as fast as you can. He is an arrogant, insecure poor excuse for a human being. Shame on Sloan Kettering for keeping him with so many bad reviews. I will not go back to him, and if I can't change drs. there, I will go somewhere else.

The positive reviews are absolutely shocking; this "thing" (for lack of a better word, he's not worthy of being called a person) is the most horrid, nastiest, excuse for a "thing" this planet has ever seen. NO ONE SHOULD GO NEAR HIM UNLESS THAT PERSON WANTS TO BE VERBALLY ABUSED.

In my opinion my wife would not be alive today (coming up on 5 years) if not for Dr Bains. When all other doctors gave up he and his associates stepped up and saved her, i am forever in his debt, God bless him

Saved my life's! 23 year lung cancer survivor! What more can I say! What more needs to be said! Truly a good, humble man who is dedicated to helping people cope and survive cancer.

My experience with Dr. Baines couldn't have been more different then the negative reviews. I found him kind considerate and more then willing to spend time to explain my situation in detail. He was willing to answer in detail any question I had. The only complaint is that the wait time at the office to see him was excessive. My guess it is because he spends so much time with each patient

Awful rotten bed-side manner, impersonal, gave us no hope for survival. Said very, very, few stage IV patients live. When my brother questioned him(as we had been speaking to multiple stage IV survivors for over a week) he said, "well maybe you'll be a lucky one." He should have his Medical License taken away. I can't imagine the Board of Directors at SK would want him speaking to patients who might spend hundreds of thousands of dollars there like that.
