I FOUND DR. KOTA TO BE VERY PERSONABLE, CARING, KNOWLEDGEABLE AND UNDERSTANDING. SHE WAS VERY INSPIRATIONAL IN EVERY ASPECT OF MY CARE.

I would never go back to this doctor! She saw me for 5 minutes, ran blood work, then called my rheumatologist and told him I was cured before speaking to me for follow up! APS - Antiphospholipid Antibody Syndrome- Lupus Anticoagulant has been diagnosed since 2004 from Mayo clinic and doctors in Chicago who have studied APS. All I wanted was follow-up care when moving to the area and help with management of my illness. Instead she took my diagnosis away and called my rhuemie and told him I was cured, throw my medicine away! Since then I have developed Avascular Necrosis. I have a history of PE's and internal bleeds. APS has never been questioned. If it was too much for her to understand or want to follow my care, she shouldn't be in practice! For the rheumatologist he is leaving the practice. I made an appt with the replacement who said she would try and keep an "open mind" after I told her what had happened! I felt like I had to prove my prior diagnosis. I am very upset. Had they been… on the ball, we may have been able to avoid the Avascular Necrosis . Needless to say they are FIRED! I don't recommend this for
