Dr. Manley Francis Burton, MD

Dr. Burton just disappeared without advising anyone and he was the only doctor in his office facility. His receptionist (or maybe she was hired by the facility and not the doctor) is still there. She will not tell anyone anything about where Dr. Burton is or why he just disappeared. We don't need anything personal but just something as: medical leave, family emergency, etc. But they just say "they don't know". Every week the receptionsist will tell you, "Dr. Burton is coming back in a week" and she will say that every week for the past 2 months. This doctor treated multiple patients. All these patients are left without a doctor. If you try to explain that to his receptionist she will get hateful and tell you to "go to the emergency room". Also, if you try and go to other doctors they all tell you they need a referral or they need your medical records. Dr. Burton's receptionist will tell you that she can't release your medical records to you because she doesn't have Dr. Burton's… permission. This is crazy. Also, if you look him up with State of Georgia Medical Licensing Board the site will say that Dr. Burton's license will expire on Auagust 31, 2017. It doesn't look like he is going to renew them so maybe this is just his way around not renewing his license but not getting complaints filed on him with the Board for skipping out on all his patients.

He does not accept phone calls, nor does he return phone calls unless it is a dire emergency. His receptionist says if you want to talk to him, even for a minute, must pay $125 for a visit. This doctor is favored by the addicts that fill his office waiting room. His receptionist, a correspondence school attendee is not only illiterate, but also cannot count. If you want a good caring doctor, find one through the AMA.

Dr Burton, We a very nice doctor, didn't have to wait a long time for him to come in,resolved my problem with my leg, very understanding and down to earth. recommend for common injurys.
