Dr. Manoj K Mehta, MD

I can unreservedly recommend not only Dr. Mehta himself, but the entire staff at his Wilmette center. Everyone with whom I interacted was both kind and professional. Unlike my prior colonoscopy, done by a different doctor in a hospital, I did not "wake up" in the middle of the procedure. I prefer Dr. Mehta's outpatient setting, where a Board-certified anesthesiologist administers the anesthesia, to a colonoscopy in a hospital where a nurse monitors the anesthesia. More comfortable and reassuring all around.

Excellent doctor takes the time to listen as well as help resolve any problems a patient might have. You will not be disappointed if you decide to use his medical expertise.

There is nothing memorable about going to the doctor. Professionals like Dr. Mehta and his staff make it a respectful, instructive and pleasant experience.

I saw Dr. Mehta accidentally. I was supposed to see someone else at his practice and it didn't work out, so I saw him instead. I have been seeing him ten years now and he is amazing! At one point, my insurance changed and wasn't accepted by his office, and he continued to accept me as a patient for a very minimal cost. He doesn't pretend to know everything, but talks with colleagues in his office, at conferences and at other hospitals to get the answers to my questions. He returns phone calls promptly. I am so happy that I ended up with him as my doctor.

Warm when appropriate, humorous when I needed it, very informative, and always professional. He made me feel very much at ease.

My doctor recently left his practice and Dr. Mehta was recommended to me. He was very professional and took the time to answer my questions. When I was having issues with Crohn's flare-ups he was quick to return my phone calls and offered suggestions that provided relief. I think he is a good doctor.

You will not find a finer, more experienced, more skilled, or more caring doctor (pick your field!) than Dr. Mehta! We were privileged having him care for my husband with late stage esophageal cancer. At every point during this difficult period,Dr. Mehta made himself available, always thoughtful and thorough, beyond what anyone could possibly expect from a physician. I only wish there were a rating way beyond excellent for Dr. Mehta!!

Dr. Metha was very professional, personable, and knowledgeable. He made me feel at ease regarding my daughter's condition. She liked him very much and he was able to meet both of our (very different) expectations. I would highly recommend him.
