Dr. Manoj M Moholkar, MD

Came to see Dr. Moholkar for shoulder pain, specifically a potential rotator cuff tear. I had been in pain for 4 months, and had stopped using my left arm completely while at work to avoid the pain. Dr. Moholkar had me move my arm up and down, then told me that since I have full range of motion I can't possibly have a tear, and gave me a subscription for painkillers and told me to come back in 2 weeks. He said I only had tendinitis, and that it would be gone in 2 weeks. 2 weeks later, nothing had changed. He said he could give me an MRI but he wanted me to go back to work. I hadn't missed any work, and asked why he would give me an xray even though he was looking for a muscular problem, not a skeletal one. He didn't have an answer for me, but results came back negative and he ascribed Physical Therapy. My pain has increased, my arm is still not able to be used in any meaningful function, and it took 42 days for his office to schedule an MRI, which I had to ask for. His office will tell… you that they couldn't get in touch with my provider, but provider has never been contacted by them and Dr. Mohol;kar's office wouldn't tell me what fax number they were using. I went to a follow up appointment with Dr. Moholjkar and he asked how my MRI had gone, and when I told him I hadn't had one he became incredulous and asked if I wanted to get better or not. I told him his office had never contacted me to set the appointment, and when we checked the front desk they verified my story and he didn't apologize, he just said to come back in 4 weeks because he couldn't do anything for me.

This so called doctor has never seen me and just denied all my meds. I won't go into what's wrong with me, but I've had 7 back surgeries. This is a scam that the insurance company's and the doctors have come up with. The insurance always pick the doctors that say what the insurance company's want them to say so they can deny what ever they want to. This is such crap!

According to his Utilization Review report for cid Management, Dr. Moholkar believes that a person who is totally unable to move his limbs below his neck (a quadriplegic) only requires 28 hours of care a week! What happens if he needs medication? What happens if he needs water? He can't get up and get water. He can't make his own food. Dr. Moholkar has signed a death warrant for my quadriplegic client. My client has never seen him. He limited my client's care based on review of two lousy medical reports! He should get no stars. I don't know what his office wait time was, but he did not get the report back for more than 13 days.

I am a patient that Dr. Manoj M. Moholkar evaluated under utilization review for worker's compensation. Dr. Moholkar denied treatment of a botox injection for a scalene nerve block; denied an EKG, and denied physical therapy without examining me. I live in California. I do not recommend this doctor.

This Dr reviewed my case. He did this for an insurance company. Which is now denying to pay for medications. Professional Dr's say I should have. This Dr has never examined me.

I would like to give zero stars if I could. I walked in with my MRI that shows I have herniated discs. He proceeded to tell me it was muscular and to take IB profin. I have been living with this for 3 years. It isn't muscular. I have been in front of a surgeon and the reason they will no operate is because its in a bad spot. I recently feel that I popped another one. His response to that was to put some ice on it and take a week off. Worst Doctor EVER!! go back to medical school. Listen to your patients. Don't tell me how I feel or what Is going on inside my body.
