I have been seeing Dr. Waikar for over 10 years and he has impacted my life significantly for the better. I have chronic anxiety with depressive symptoms and he has been an incredible clinician and support my entire mental health journey. He is very up to date on new research and is incredibly responsive to email and text. He always answers my questions and talks to me about side effects. He is incredibly intelligent and well connected in the Bay Area. I owe this doctor my life.

Bad temper and irrational. I was honestly shocked after just a couple sessions that this man is MD'd at all.

Finally found a psychiatrist that has helped me with therapy and medications

Super aggressive with medications. Each time I felt bad with a medication he started, he blamed it on me ("I've never heard of that side effect.") I went to someone else and ended up on only 1.

Good but turns angry and impatient over short period of time. He thinks he is so great.

I definitely recommend Dr. Waikar. His office environment is welcoming and a more intimate/private setting. His really knows what he is talking about and has been very helpful.
