I was referred to this doctor to help me with my strabismus surgery. Though this procedure is generally done on children, they took me anyway. After a kind and considerate and very well mannered consultation he took my case. Everything, every step was laid out as to how it was supposed to go. He let me know what my expectations would be, and was very direct. During this entire process I felt that he was doing this with my best interests at heart, and not doing it because it was his job. Being treated like a human being by an accomplished physician is, well there are no words to express my gratitude of how well I was treated. I have stereoscopic vision now. When I brought my daughter because she had chalazion, they literally did all kinds of tests, which was unnecessary. After all those unnecessary tests, he just went through the tests but he was not super sure about the actual problem I came for, saying 'It appears'. If those tests did not uncover the problem, why bother to do those tests? That is when I noticed every other kid there was going through the same tests. Their eyes are all dilated. I understand that doctors don't want to miss so they want to do some tests. But when I asked about why those tests, they just did the tests.

What a great doctor. Friendly and makes my daughter feel comfortable with her eye exams. Trust is extremely important and he is so patient.

Dr. Movaghar has seen both of my children for exams and did surgery for one of them. He is extremely personable, puts the children at ease, answers any and all questions, and when he tells you to call if you have any concerns, you know he means it. I highly recommend Dr. Movaghar.
