Mansour Makhlouf, MD

I broke my finger and was referred to Dr. Makhlouf. He was never clear about my treatment options and was always in a rush to get through my appointment. I asked questions about the surgery, but he didn’t care to explain and gave me a very vague response about the procedure. The surgery left my finger worse than before and created other problems. He retired shortly after my surgery without any consideration about post-op care. I was never sent to physical therapy and other doctors have commented on how terrible of a job he did and seriously questioned his methods.

I had never ever had a surgical procedure before, and I awoke with an "external fixator" sticking out of my forearm. This "professional" discussed absolutely nothing with me, his patient (i'm serious, I did not know what was sticking out of my arm) . I'd call his "bedside manner" terrible, if he had had any. Horror movies are based on this creep. He literally vocally blamed me for my accident, and seemed resentful that I was in need of treatment. I trusted him and his team, and I truly, seriously, wouldn't ever wish for anyone to get "Makhloufed". He's condescending, calls patients liars and is an overall buffoon. He tried multiple times to pressure me into extra surgical procedures which I DID NOT NEED, and I reported that to my insurance company. He's a rat. Seek treatment elsewhere. Somewhere, there is a focus group of folks that this monster has "treated". If I ever were to see him again, or if he reads this, it is my opinion that he's a disgrace to the trusted profession. I'm… awfully dissatisfied. And I am still living in discomfort. I do not believe his surgical procedures were any where near excellent. My wrist, seemingly, will always be in pain.

My whole experience was great. I was seen promptly and Dr. Makhlouf was very nice and helpful.
