Dr. Manuel E Babaian, MD

An hour's wait to see him, first 45 minutes in the general waiting room and then 15 minutes alone in the little room after BP and copay is done. Messed up all my further business appointments for the day. Dr Babaian is friendly enough but seems overwhelmed by his workload. He was a bit confused about my symptoms and simply referred me to another specialist. I was out of there in 7 minutes with nothing resolved about my condition. For this, I drove 30 minutes from my office and waited over 60 minutes in his rooms. A total waste of my time. So I cannot actually comment on his actual medical skills because I never got a chance to experience them.

I went to the doctor for a colonoscopy by referral of my primary physician. The office staff was very professional. The doctor is "nice" but told me I needed an endoscopy too. I agreed to both procedures. Both procedures came out negative but unlike other doctors that just call you to say that everything was fine, I had to do another appointment just to hear him say I was OK and to show me some photos of my digestive system which I doubt they were mine. Coincidentally, the doctor billed my insurance twice for the procedures and the visits.

Dr Babaian may (or may not) be a good doctor but I can't comment on that since I never had any follow-up on my procedures due to his staff's incompetence & unwillingness to help get a referral for the follow-up appt from my insurance. Considering how many of these G/I guys there are around this area - I recommend that you pick a different one...

My appointment with Dr. Babaian was on Jan. 30, 2018 at 3: 50 PM. As this was my first visit the usual amount of paperwork was needed. The receptionist was very pleasant and made me feel very relaxed. Her smile never ended. Normally going to a doctors office at that late time i expected a long wait. Much to my surprise it was only a few minutes when I was accompanied to the room where I was to see the doctor. Here also was the never ending smile receptionist who took my vital signs and could not have been more pleasant. Again I expected a long wait to see the doctor and again I was surprised with how quickly he came. He was every bit what I had been informed. Pleasant, soft spoken and very complete, allowing me to say everything in explaining my problem completely. I was very satisfied on how he spoke and presented my problem and what needed to be done. A real professional. On setting up my next appointment I met two other women employees and spoke to both for a few… minutes. They were just as pleasant and were very easy to talk to. I have never given a review before but this one had to be said. Anyone who visits this doctor and his staff is in for a very very pleasant experience. One you will remember.

The staff at his home off was horrible ... Makes sure you insurance covers the procedure because they hatrassed me about paying cash for my appointment I was paying with a credit card while I was in doctors room cause they said my insurance was in a grace period ... Needless to say my procedure according to doctors office was covered 100 percent by the office manager there. My insurance was not covered I was still in my deductible and she the office manager missed that in the insurance phone call. I could ha e waited one month and had this 1500 out of pocket procedure performed for nothing .... The office had not listened properly to my insurance company phone call ! Disgusted I start my year with a bill like this when I pay high high premiums as it is... The office had me very uncomfortable for a consult the way they handled the payment for office visit inturn they screwed the big bill completeley wrong and mislead me Very rude

The doctor is excellent - smart, empathric, kind. The woman who answers the phone Ann is the rudest individual I have ever met. She should not be allowed to deal with patients because she is an unpleasant soul.

Dr. Babaian is an outstanding doctor. My family has been going to him for years and he is kind, compassionate, spends time with you, and very knowledgeable. Honestly, if more doctors were like him the healthcare field would be a better institution.

This is the second time I used Dr. Babaian for the colonoscopy exam. The wait time is not excessive and the staff is quite helpful with appointments. I had as good an experience as one could considering the procedure. The doctor uses Coral Springs outpatient center where the staff is experienced in handling these and other procedures. The drug of choice there is Propofol (M. Jacksons sleep choice) but the anesthetist is skilled in waking people after procedures

Overall the Doctor seemed knowledgable, but the staff was unprofessional. During my extensive wait times for appointments, I watched his Office Manager treat many patients without respect or professionalism.

Dr. Babaian is an easy going, affable, very knowledgeable professional who not only takes the time to learn how you got to this stage in your life (family, lifestyle, job, diet, etc) but also explains in great detail what the next procedure is going to be like and then he follows up with another session to explain all the results of that procedure (not a over the phone report from the secretary). The office staff is very friendly and efficient.
