Dr. Manuel Paul Fernandez, MD

I am very sad that he retired. He was just the best of the best. I work in the medical field so I'm well versed in Medicine. I now live in Coachella Valley and the shortage of Endocrinologists is frightening.

Friendly personality but at the end of the day you want a dr that knows something. This guy was full of false information, failed to run necessary tests and just hadn't a clue of what was going on. Years later I find out I need surgery and he didn't even care to tell me. He put me on high dosage medication and ran very few tests. Now I find out those meds cause heart issues and the medication wasn't even effective in my case. To top it off, he mistakenly told me I had a deadly disease, which was not true. Not the worst dr I've seen since Kaiser has a lot of bad ones but up there.

Has been my daughters Dr. For 3 years. He has helped her so much. I've learned so much from him on how to keep my daughter from always going to e.r. we will miss him emmensly.

I've been a patient of Dr Fernandez for around 10 yrs. What can I say? He likes his job. He likes the science, he likes the patient care and he likes helping people and it shows. He does talk at a patient, he talk with them.

DR FERNANDEZ, IS MORE THAN A DR. HE IS KIND, TAKES TIME WITH YOU. INTERETED IN YR. FAMILY LIFE, HOW IT EFFECTS YOUR HEALTH, ETC. ITS TERRIBLE HE LEFT HIS PRACTICE TO GO ELSEWHERE, AS ALL OF HIS PATIENTS MISS HIM VERY MUCH. PLEASE COME BACK. WERE STILL HERE, AND NEED YOU. TI AMO MUCHO DR. MANNY.

Tremendous doctor! A rare person. I wish he still practiced privately.

Dr. Fernandez really cares. He is smart, but patient and does a good assessment. Actually lets the patient talk. He gives good advice, but tempers it with your life style (what good does a medicine do if you won't take it?). He has a ton of life experience and is a pleasure to have as a doctor. Not afraid to try newer things (e.g. Amylin). I think he's only with Kaiser now. I didn't complete wait time or office staff on the survey because that varies WIDELY through no fault of the doctor.
