It's not easy these days to find a doctor who is compassionate, dependable and knows what they are doing. Dr Pardo is all of these things. He takes his time, asks questions & really listens to his patients. He has been practicing for many years and keeps up with what is current in his field. I really like this combo. He is also one of the very few doctors who will call me at home if something is really wrong that can't wait until "after" the holiday / weekend or my next appointment (This doesn't happen often, only when appropriate). I highly recommend Dr Pardo.

A friend recommended Dr. Pardo to me -- I'm a type 2 diabetic, on insulin. Dr. Pardo is by far the most knowledgeable physician I've dealt with and the easiest to interact with. He has worked with me over the years to get my A1c down and to get the best balance of insulin and other meds for control, and his suggestions have always been beneficial. There is usually a moderate office wait, but I think that's because he spends as much as time as needed in talking with his patients and answering questions, a welcome change from most clinic and large practice settings. Another plus: while he generally does not take phone calls during the day, he answers each and every phone call received before he leaves the office in the evening. His staff are super-friendly and the atmostphere is very relaxed. His people work very hard to get someone in quickly if needed. He has gone above and beyond to help me stay healthy and I would not consider going to anyone else.

Dr. Pardo is the best doctor I have ever had. He spends time with you discussing your medical condition and looks carefully at your lab results. He recently reduced a medication I was on because the lab results showed there a chance of complications. I have kept my diabetes under control with his guidance.

Long wait! Horrible promptness! Oh! They are prompt when it comes to taking their payment. If I could give a half star I would.

You wait half an hour in the waiting room, followed by another half hour of waiting in the exam room for the doctor to see you. Then the next forty minutes he spends repeating himself. Be prepared to spend atleast 2 hours there.....

I saw this doctor a few times. He has terrible bedside manners and a bad temper. He's rude and his staff is rude. He's not the most knowledgeable doctor I've been to and he is very uncooperative and uninvolved when you need his help. He'll likes to repeat things over and over. I could not count on him to save my life. I do not recommend him.

I had to find an endincrinologist when my "calcium" shot up (my annual bloodtest). I called Dr Pardo's office and immediately got an appt. This was about 2 yrs now. What he found was; (after another bloodtest) is that my parathyroid test came up high.. meaning one or more parathyroids were enlarged, so all the calcium going into my body was going right out of instead of my bones, etc. He told me about Dr. Norman the parathyroid surgeon in Tampa General Hospital. I went to him, he cut it out (it was a 12 min surgery - minimal bleeding and in and out) .. I am now cured! I do see Dr Pardo to get checked once a yr.. but without his referring Dr Norman, I may have had lots of problems. Thanks Dr Pardo!
