Wonderful extremely experienced and professional doctor.

Dr. Puig is a very knowledgeable and honest physician. His examinations are thorough and being a perfectionist, his treatments are among the very best in San Diego.

I took an elderly family member to see Dr. Puig. Health is important and my family members eye sight is very important. We did have to wait but the wait was worth it. Other doctors barely examine you, don't explain your condition. I think this might be the best eye doctor I have visited. My elderly family member adores Dr. Puig

I went to my first appt. A full room of chatty clients waiting in lobby. I had popped a slice of gum into my mouth because I had onions for lunch. I waited for an hour and the Dr came into the lobby and said in Spanish something witty about the conversations in the room. He opened the lobby door and made a comment about the smell. He grabbed a trash can put in front of me and told me that their is no eating or gum allowed in his office. Because it ends up on the carpet. This was nothing when I finally was taken back His staff asked about my history problems...the whole time all of the rooms where open. I could hear him talking to the patient in the next door. After the girl was done with my general information she went into the room across the hall where the Dr was with another patient . She stood at the door and continued to tell the Dr. my health issues. I was very upset at this. HIPPA NOT IN THIS OFFICE

I was left "hanging" my cataract operation was sheduled and suddendly, He cancelled it and gave my place to another patient,that was paying a lot more.

Very rude Dr. he took care of my grandmother and never did anything for her. He kept doing surgeries to help her eyes and her vision got worst!! He is nice when you first start seen him but after a while he becomes rude!!!

I was initially impressed when I took my mom for an early appointment. Dr. Puig came out to the waiting room and greeted all the patients with a handshake. However, I must agree with the other reviews in that the front desk personnel are rude (a bottle red head woman to be specific). Office visits can be very long. Our initial visit lasted 3.5 hours! I believe the doctor is very competent however he could improve his patients' experience at his office .

WAS PATIENT OF THIS DOCTOR FOR YEARS. HIS STAFF IS RUDE! I DECIDED TO CHANGE TO ANOTHER DOCTOR AFTER I HAD DONE ALL MY CATARACTS SURGERY. MY NOW DOCTOR HAS ASKED FOR MY SURGERY INFORMATION AND NOW THEY WANT TO CHARGEME 25 DOLLARS TO RELEASE THAT INFORMATION TO MY DOCTOR. STAFF IS SO RUDE SAYING THAT I CANT LEAVE HIS OFFICE! THIS OFFICE IS A NIGHTMARE!!

never go to this doctor, he has the worst bedside manners.he made me feel worst than better. please never go....dont waste your time..

This doctor basically doesn't have the patience nor compassion for his patients. He consistently appears irritated, extremely arrogant and has no problem talking back in a conflicting manner with his patients. I've had to sit as long as 2 hours while others are there complaining for waiting as long. He shouldn't overbook as he does. I've asked questions where I get a set answer and THAT'S IT. DON'T ASK ANYMORE QUESTIONS. Makes me wonder why he's even practicing. I don't recommend him.
