Dr. Manuel Robert Weiss, MD

I visited Dr. Weiss for a consult on low back pain in Nov 2015. I had back surgery in on two ruptured disc. This led to bone spurs and arthritis. Dr. Weiss recommended therapy and injections and this has worked well. I also have bulging disc in my neck and I an returning to Dr. Weiss this week. I have been very pleases

He was wonderful. I had a horrible accident . Head trama and many other complications , In a coma. Never left me through each and everyday . Highly intelligent and compassionate Very plain spoken but on top of the situation. Would very much recommend him to others. His staff was always polite and extremely helpful and I was under his care for more than a year. St Thomas is fortunate to have a man of his character, intelligence and total dedication to all his patients

Dr Weiss went over & above usual effort to diagnose & successfully treat my ruptured L3-L4 disc. We did x-rays & an MRI w/o contract, all of which showed nothing. I was still in severe pain 9-10 of 10. He wasn't satisfied with the results & ordered one more MRI w contrast which finally showed the rupture & that a fragment had migrated & was pressing on the sciatic nerve, causing the pain. I was scheduled for surgery in about a week. While I was waiting, I happened to meet him outside a local restaurant & he stopped me in the parking lot, checking on me & making sure I was scheduled for the surgery. I was inpatient only over night & went home, with only minor surgical discomfort the next day. When I went back for post-surgical check-up he grinned & was very pleased with our success. I completely recommend him.

Had no problems here at all. Dr.Weiss was very professional, gave his diagnosis and together we developed a plan. Definetly the dr to visit.

Wish all docs were like Dr. Weiss. He really knows his stuff and communicates well with his patients
