Dr. Manuela Carmen Almaguer, MD

Staff confirmed appointment and diagnosis after waiting in lobby 45 minutes, and taking off work while working to get records faxed over the holiday, I overhear the Dr behind an apparently very thin wall saying she won't see my child. She then tells me along with one of the rudest office staff I've ever encountered, she cannot see my child that I need to see a geneticist. Yeah no, my child saw the chair of the pediatric endocrinology department at Arnold Palmer.... thanks but no thanks. If you are an endocrinologist that can't handle hypoglycemia I'll keep looking for a better Dr. To top it off my 5 year old cried that the Dr didn't want to see her. Very disappointed.

Dr. Almaguer is personable and knowledgeable. She has been working with us since my son was 3 weeks old. she has always been patient with my questions...and there have been many..and is prompt in returning phone calls.
