My first visit he told me I needed a hysterectomy and I wouldn't be able to have children thank god I went and had a second opinion. I have 2 kids now. I was only 18 at the time.

Excellent doctor! I can't believe he is retiring.

This Dr. told me to have an abortion without enough information available to make an accurate diagnosis. My son has Trisomy 9 Mosaic, he told me my baby would die or live his life hooked to machines in a bed. WRONG! He is 11 years old now and although he is globally delayed he Plays flag football, baseball, reads, writes, uses a computer and is the most loving boy. He is very healthy and has no medical problems, with a Mosaic diagnosis there is no way to tell which cells are affected by the extra chromosome therefore no way to tell what the out come will be. This Dr. made my pregnancy horrible trying to push me into aborting my baby even when it would have meant delivering him and letting him die because he was too small to survive.

I JUST WANT TO SAY I ENDED UP REPORTING THIS DOCTOR, I HAD RATED THIS DOCTOR BEFORE, AFTER I DELIVERED MY BABY, AND FOUND THAT IT WAS DELETED FROM HIS RATING SECTION- LISTEN, I'M JUST TRYING TO WARN ALL WHO WILL LISTEN, THIS DOCTOR WILL MAKE YOUR PREGNANCY EXPERIENCE HORRIFIC AND A NIGHTMARE

Here is what patients do not understand: Medical doctors who work in clinical settings exist to diagnose and treat conditions. They have NO obligation whatsoever to be nice, caring, or polite to patients. They could care less if you are feeling moody or hormonal. They deal with the MEDICINE, not mental therapy and psychology. If an MD goes the extra mile and is very caring and friendly, then you've found a diamond in the rough. Generally speaking, if you want to be cared for and treated with respect, see a nurse practitioner. With that in mind, I have no problem with Dr. Wije. Yes he does seem cold and uncaring, but he does what is important: he looked after my health, followed up properly, and safely delivered my baby daughter. What more could I ask for? I am not looking for a friend to confide in. I am not looking for someone to patronize me and listen to my innermost secrets. I am looking for an efficient, safe physician who will make sure I am well taken care of and that me and my… children survive the birthing process.If you are looking for a friendly, sparking physician with an electric personality who will crack jokes and cater to your emotional upheavals, DO NOT choose Dr. Wije. If you are looking for a physician who provides safe and effective care, please choose Dr. Wije.

This doctor was awful.He was rude,does not care,and does not know what he is doing.The BEST decision I ever made was to change doctors.

I love doctor. I've been going to him for a long time. Never had a problem with him or his staff. Excellent doctor.

What a jerk. I waited over an hour just to hear a few rude words. Only a few words because he didn't spend more than 2-3u minutes in the room!

DR. WIJESINGHE CARES. I HAVE NEVER MET SUCH A CARING DOCTOR LIKE DR. WIJESINGHE. I HAVE BEEN HIS PATIENT FOR SEVERAL YEARS NOW AND BEEN TRULY SATISFIED WITH THE QUALITY OF CARE HE HAS BEEN GIVEN TO ME AND HIS PATIENTS. THOSE TIMES THAT I HAVE BEEN REALLY SICK AND NEEDED TO BE ADMITTED IN THE HOSPITAL, THE NURSES AND THE OTHER STAFF ARE ALWAYS SO PLEASED TO KNOW THAT I AM UNDER HIS CARE. THEY SAID THAT HE IS VERY PROFESSIONAL ( WHICH HE IS) AND LISTENS. I HAVE PLANS OF MOVING OUT OF STATE BUT STILL DECIDES TO KEEP HIM AS MY OB-GYN. I GUESS, THAT'S HOW GOOD HE IS ;-)

EVERYTHING WAS SOOO NEGATIVE WITH HIM! I DIDN'T SWITCH DOCTORS FOR FEAR MY I WOULD BE TOO MUCH OF A HASSLE & I'D HAVE TO PAY MORE BUT I WISH I WOULD HAVE! EVEN IN THE OPERATION ROOM HE WAS RUDE! I ASKED HIM TO PLEASE WAIT FOR MY HUSBAND TO WALK IN SO HE COULD HOLD MY HAND & HE SNAPPED AT ME & HE CUT ME BEFORE MY HUSBAND EVEN GOT THERE! I WAS IN LABOR FOR OVER 24 HOURS & AT THE END IT WAS A C SECTION ANYWAY! HE WILL WALK OUT OF THE ROOM AS YOUR ASKING QUESTIONS AND SOMETIMES WON'T EVEN SAY HI. RUDE RUDE RUDE MAN! NEVER AGAIN!
