Dr. Mara Karamitopoulos, MD

Dr. K is fantastic. I never write reviews, but I felt compelled after seeing her last week with my son. I was worried about his left knee, as he has had pain for a while. She asked great questions and was really thorough with her exam. We are going to try physical therapy, and we will go back to visit in a few weeks. She made my son comfortable, and they talked about their shared love of the Rangers! Office was very nice. Lots of other doctors were there at the same time, but we got in quickly. I highly recommend her!

Dr. Karamotopoulos has been taking care of my daughter for 2 years— she has severe cerebral palsy. Dr. Karamotopoulos has taken the time to get to know my daughter and her goals. We feel very comfortable in her care. She and her staff are exceptional with special needs children.

Met the doctor for the first time on telemedicine. I normally wouldn’t do that, but we have a global pandemic going on! She made my child and I feel very comfortable and I was reassured. I will definitely make on appointment with her in the office once COVID blows over!

I was so impressed by Dr K. She was wonderful with my 16 month old, and she picked up on a pot of subtle things my wife and I were worried about. My daughter has been improving steadily just with the physical therapy the doctor recommended. We cant thank her enough!

Dr K is the best. I really can’t saw enough about how much she has helped my immediate and extended family. I have sent her at least 5-6 patients who have all been very satisfied with her care. She is smart as a whip and is lovely. She makes unfortunate situations so much better with her humor, warmth, and knowledge. She really takes an interest in my kids besides the orthopedic aspects and got to know my family well.

We saw Dr. Karamitopulous as a second opinion for our son's walking about 4 months ago. She picked up on some things that my husband and I had noticed but had not been addressed by other doctors. I felt very reassured that we are in great hands. She recommended physical therapy, and she helped us find someone close by. I had some questions after the visit, and she returned my call very quickly. She made me feel very comfortable and even recommended a spine specialist for my dad! We can't thank her enough.

I had an early appointment for my son. No wait at all. Dr. K was great with my toddler, who can be scared of strangers. My concerns were addressed,and I felt reassured that my son's walking was appropriate for his age. I am so glad i took my pediatrician's recommendation to see Dr. K! She is great!

My overall experience with Dr.K was good aside from the 2hr long wait to see her. Staff was friendly & she was very nice explained everything answered all my questions. I went in for my daughter who broke her collar bone. She assured me everything would be okay, was kid friendly as well.

Dr. K is a GEM!!!! My child has a rare neurologic condition that causes her to have walking problems, Dr. K knew exactly how to handle my child and make her comfortable. She is a great surgeon and a great person.

If I could give more than 4 star, I would!!!
