Dr. Marc Adajar

It is appropriate that Dr. Adajar works at Precision Surgical Group because it is exactly how I would describe his skills. He was exceedingly curious and communicative during the consultation and it is very apparently he enjoys his job. Even though he had a new baby days earlier (sleep deprivation anyone?) he was attentive and I felt like he cared about the issue I was having with my shoulder. His office was great and explaining things to me for the medical billing side. The procedure itself went well and the scar I have is minimal considering what it could have been. He even showed my a photo (at my request) of what the lipoma looked like after removal. I was able to discuss things with him after surgery and his take home information was helpful and thorough. He was also very responsive to the follow up email he requested 24- hours after the procedure. It is rare to have a Doctor that is so good at communication and his job. I would refer anyone and everyone to him. Did I mention… he is also a cool person too? It helps to have such a personable doctor that does not make you feel invisible or irrelevant.

Great doctor. The kind of guy you would want to invite to a party and have some drinks with after all the business is taken care of. Never felt anxious or worried by what he had to say. Very professional and friendly at the same time. Highly recommend him for surgical procedures.

Dr. Adajar and his team are wonderful and very professional. I had my appendix removed my appointment was for 11am but was taken in for preparation and I was in recovery by 12:30pm. Nurses were constantly checking on me and all the questions I had were answered. My follow up appointment was set by the time I went home. I get calls from them to follow up on my recovery. I recommend Dr. Adajar and his team. They were all very professional and great.

Dr. Adajar is a GREAT surgeon! i would totally recomend him! This was my first surgery and from the moment i walked into his office to have a diagnosis he was very comforting. When he told me it was best to have surgery i started crying and he patted me on my shoulder and said "dont worry i'll take care of you". i was very scared because i didnt know what to expect and I was super nervous. On the day of surgery i went into Swedish hostpital and his nurses were very sweet as well. They saw how nervous i was so they tried doing everything very smoothly (including numbing my hand before putting the IV in so i wouldnt feel any pain). Dr. Adajar checked up on me before and after surgery, and and even weeks after surgery. The procedure was painless, i was under local anesthesia, but i dont remember anything. It was as if i fell asleep, when i "woke up" i felt very sleepy but i did not have any pain. He gave me a prescribed tylenol and was sent home within the next 15 min. OH and the nurses… gave me some delicious crackers and apple juice after surgery! I rested for about 3 days and on the 4th day was back at school. It's been about a month after surgery and i am still in contact with Dr. Adajar through email, he's willing to answer any questions you have and responds very quickly.

Cares about his patient individually. Takes his time to explain, give information and answers your questions. Very knowledgeable. I liked him as a person and better yet a doctor. Trusted what he said. 5 stars. The staff he has are very helpful and goes out of their way to get things done.

I had to have an emergency gallbladder removal this past monday and what went from being a really terrible experience immediately became better when I was placed in the care of Dr. Adajar. I checked in at Advocate Masonic's ER after my primary care physician talked down to me, told me to go home and "deal with it" and that "no one would ever operate on me". I was in unbelievable pain and was terrified. A few hours later I was in the operating room with Dr. Adajar and his amazing team. His team was amazing. Not only were they kind, smart, and thoughtful.. they were hilarious! Honestly, I was so excited to get that thing out of me that the thought of surgery didn't scare me one bit. I had an amazing team and knew I was going to feel better in no time. Dr Adajar and his team put me at ease immediately. I had to stay over night and someone from his team checked in on me what seemed like every hour! They were so attentive! The team answered all of my follow up questions, they were… kind to me and my wife, and so respectful of each other and the nursing staff. Once I got home I was in email touch with Dr. Adajar right away. He checked in on me, answered all my questions, and made sure that I was recovering well. It is such an overwhelmingly amazing feeling to know that there is a doctor out there that really cares.

My experience with Dr. Adajar and his personnel has been very positive. He is a really caring doctor. And he tries to deliver the best service to his patients to help them! I never remember emailing back and forward with any of the doctors that I visited. It is very kind of him to take the time to communicate with his patients even after the visit and share their concerns. Thank you very much! :)

Dr. Adajar did an inguinal hernai repair on me and I had an outstanding experience. He is very knowledgable and has an excllent bedside manner. He answered all my pre and post op questions in a manner that I was able to understand. I would not hesitate to go back to him in the future if I needed to. Thank you Dr. Adajar!! His office staff is equally as friendly and pleasant.

I really liked Dr. Adajar. It's nice that you can email him questions. It's nice that he did my surgery so quickly. His staff helped with my short term disability papers as well. I felt confident with Dr. Adajar.

I would like to say that the experience that I had with Dr. Adajar was a great one. It was my first time having surgery and I will admit that I was very scared to have surgery but Dr Adajar put me at ease and let me know that everything would be fine and I trusted him. Him and his staff took good care of me and I thank them for that and will recommend peoples to him that has to have work done. I am very pleased
