Dr. Marc Gerald Apple, MD

I’ve suffered for years with worsening nerve pain from brain nerve to head and face... more medications, injections, ER visits, and complete misery worse and worse with little complete or lasting relief... saw many specialists including neurosurgeons and neurologists, and pain MD’s, etc and my quality and function as I hit my 80’s and stressed my husband and family over and over had been such a burden... I’m elderly and was initially but scared and not accurately ‘informed’ expertly by couple other different specialists (who knew nothing about Dr Apple’ field, rather seemed to ‘bias’ their knowledge and opinions... Simply, I’m just so grateful and with real and lasting relief since Dr Marc Apple MD and his colleagues used their EDGE System type of Cyberknife Radiation Surgery device procedure to somehow target the tiny tight spot of major nerve right on my brain and ‘ablate’ or zap it with one short treatment... what a contraption!! Gradually I’m so much better and very little… meds and exam eat again and be with my family happily!! Very appreciative ‘Marc’ !!! Other Doctors didn’t Know how or seem to think I was worth the effort and risk I think...

The politicization of cancer groups and practices seems quite present ever more these days!! Dr Apple provided excellent care for my siblings brain cancer and still doing well.. only issues we’ve had is since he moved from his last practice and other doctors personal interest in ‘re writing the narrative’ in their less experienced opinion, regarding very tough cases.... That said, I thank Dr Apple for his fine care with the limitations while working in Delray, my sister had to have more than one surgery and now doing well!! Patient compliance and close specialist collaboration very important! No tumor left just inflammation... Keep up the great efforts and work!

My Mother was over radiated, by Dr. Apple. Still a year later my mom is needing additional brain surgery due to Dr. Apples mis-diagnosis and treatment. Please beware this man is a sham and a fraud.

Having worked in the medical industry I've interacted with hundreds of physicians. As a patient I tend to highly scrutinize quality of care standards. I can attest Dr. Apple exceeded expectations on the criteria my family felt was important. I found Dr. Apple to be approachable and compassionate. He answered all questions using language commensurate with patient's understanding, compared treatment options, included clinical trial protocols, and explained the pros and cons of each procedure. In our case a WBRT or SRS treatment plan needed to be implemented quickly, and despite schedule limitations, Dr. Apple ensured the treatments would be performed asap. I was told by a Cleveland Clinic staff member he scheduled us during his lunch hour to perform a necessary procedure in order for treatment to be initiated on time. What I found most impressive was Dr. Apple personally coordinated care with one of his out-of-state Cleveland Clinic colleagues since we were leaving Florida and headed for… Ohio. He remained available and responsive during communication with our Ohio physicians. Despite being a stressful frightening time, Dr. Apple's knowledge and demeanor made us comfortable in our decisions. I highly recommend Marc G.
