Dr. Marc T Astin, MD

This doctor provides excellent and thorough care. He is always up to date on the latest research, does his homework, and spends ample time with the patient to explain what he knows. He will do the same for the patient's family when necessary. He is constantly striving to solve his patients' problems; he is so intelligent and gifted in diagnosing, regardless of its complexity, he can pinpoint and name the problem exactly. If you're lucky enough to be added to his patient list, stay there and you will develop a history and rapport with Dr. Astin over your lifetime--pregnancies throughout menopause. The only downside of this doctor is his crowded, noisy waiting room which he shares with several other providers (all of whom are as good as he is---except for the PAs). It's an important factor because you'll be sitting there for at least sixty minutes. But, keep in mind: he's late because he's giving someone else the kind of care you'll get---he doesn't care if he goes over his time… allotted with you. He'll stay in the room until YOU want to go. So the wait is worth it.
