16 years ago, as a teenager, I picked up something too heavy and "threw my back out". Ever since, my back has been weak, and I have seen many chiropractors over the years because of a tendency to throw out my back doing the simplest things. The chiropractors were all good, and they all cared about me, but when I threw my back out again 2.5 years ago, I did not really recover from it. Even with daily physical therapy (including 2 kinds of posture therapy) and a strict exercise regime, the injury created a pelvic instability that ballooned into a whole host of joint problems all over my body. In addition to the lower back pain that I had for 16 years, ribs on my left side began subluxing every single day, my neck kind of twisted to one side, and my right foot developed some kind of chronic pain condition. Traditional chiropractic was no longer controlling my symptoms, and physical therapy had limited or negative results, so I had to start looking for a different kind of treatment. Dr.… Bonacci is a chiropractor, but does not really adjust you that much. It's hard to describe what he does, but he basically puts pressure on the muscles that are pulling the bones out of place and realigns you that way. I can't believe how well the symptoms are controlled with just this technique. I love how he can align my neck without cracking it because I am scared to death of neck adjustments. After just one treatment, I no longer had pain shooting through my buttock area after exercising. After maybe 6 treatments, my upper ribs stopped coming out and stabbing me every single day. If you have pain that is in any way mysterious, I would definitely give his treatment a try. If you are like me, you may have been hurt worse by physical therapists. Even if his treatment doesn't help you, it is so gentle that there is no way it can hurt you, so there is nothing to lose. His assistant, Holly, is also excellent, so don't worry if you don't see him every time.
