Dr. Marcus J Dilorenzo, MD

I started seeing Dr. D aeveral months ago for Pulmonary issues when my regular pulmonologist could not fit me in for several months. Bobbie the receptionist fit me right in and was very sweet. A few months later I was searching for a primary care doctor however the primary care doctor that I went to see was giving out terrible advice such as women no longer need pap smears. I called Bobbie frantic because I couldn't believe this doctor said that to me and I needed to get a primary care doctor. They sent over a referral to a primary care doctor that they recommended however he did not take my insurance. So Dr D said he would be my primary care since he is internal medicine doctor also. Several weeks after that I begin exhibiting signs of either Lyme disease or rheumatoid arthritis I wasn't really sure but I was very very scared they mediately squeeze me in that day it was a Monday. Doctor D listen to what I had to say and he sent me for all the appropriate test even the ones that I had… asked for. I'm waiting on the results now but I am extremely satisfied with Dr Dand his staff everybody has been very very kind to me. I highly recommend him.

Dr. Dilorenzo and his staff have been taking absolutely excellent care of my medical needs for the past few years. Dr.Marc is an excellent diagnostician, responsive, explains things, takes his time and has a sense of humor. His staff shines.

I saw Dr. Di Lorenzo 4 or 5 times. He did a Lung Function test in his office, ordered an Oximetry test, and a CPAP Titration Sleep Study which was unnecessary as I have had two previous Sleep Studies. He told me I needed the addition of oxygen with my CPAP and wrote a prescription, but I didn't get the oxygen because his nurse said I didn't qualify, and didn't send it. Who's the doctor? Didn't have the courtesy to call me. I only found out through the DME company when I inquired a week or so later. Why would he write a prescription for oxygen if I didn't need it, and why wouldn't he do whatever he could to see I got it? I feel he let me down, and I don't have confidence in him now. He cost me time and money! Then he sends me a letter dismissing me as his patient. For what? I wouldn't go back to see him anyway, and would definitely not recommend him.

Dr. Di Lorenzo, without question, is an excellent, knowledgable, caring and dedicated doctor. His diagnosis was right-on and he referred me to a surgeon for a very serious operation. The surgeon was also superior. I highly recommend Dr. Di Lorenzo.
