READ MY EXPERIENCE , you decide if you’d trust him. He insisted my dad go (transition). Walks in doesn’t introduce himself then yelled at me in the hospital room! I ask he leave then he comes back. He promised my dad and I that my father would go peacefully. BUT My dad had far from a peaceful transition! My dad yelled and shook. I begged he put the oxygen back on my dad and stop! Duran then went to get the ICU nurse to complete the process. (This is a condensed version) He did this to my father in front of me in the cruelest way possible. It was through his sheer ignorance, LACK OF EMPATHY and eagerness to open a bed space in the hospital that I will forever have this memory. I pray to God he will remember this till HE takes his last breath! UNFORTUNATELY HE PROBABLY NEVER GAVE MY LOVING FATHER ANOTHER THOUGHT! BUT I WILL NEVER FORGET!! This happened 1/9/2021!

My husband was hospitalized at Piedmont Newnan and fortunately for us Dr. Duran was able to care for my husband. I can't say enough wonderful things about this young man. He is compassionate, thorough, and explains everything very well. I wish he'd go into private practice-we would definitely be his patients.He's a hospitalist doctor and only works in the hospital.
