Dr. Marc Eliot Grossman, MD

Dismissive and arrogant; treats underlings poorly. Any patient deserves better.

Dr Grossman provided wonderful care and medical service and advice to me. As a patient with a rare unexplained condition, he identified the condition and found treatments to help reduce my pain and suffering. And my skin always looked great under his care!

I found him to be extremely off-putting, patronizing, and condescending. And I hate to say it, but he was also sort of creepy. I will not be back to this doctor.

This doctor's recommendation made my problem worse . Staff very unpleasant and arrogant. Next step is write to BBB. If you need a doctor look for somebody else.

In this day and age one needs to forget about bedside manner and look to skill set, experience plus a doctor's ability to have only the patients best interest at heart. Dr. Grossman is a brilliant diagnostician. He not only knows "his stuff" in dermatology but in most other specialties too. During the 30 years I have been lucky enough to be his patient Dr. Grossman is the doctor I turn to when other doctors fail me. He has never let me down. His "bedside manner" is best shown to me by his concern, his direction and his referrals to the best doctors available for real answers to the difficult problems I bring him.

Rudest dr on this planet. May be great but bed side manner stinks. Will not be treated like this. Same with staff.

Went with my relative to Columbia Presbyterian today for dermatological consult. Dr. Grossman may be a good diagnostician, However,his bedside manner is poor. Walked into exam room, with approximately 11 residents.never introduced himself. He "verbally assumed" that my relative"s skin condition was caused by standing too long and having too many children(6) !!! When he was told by my me that she only had 2 children and told by her that she was a retired nursing instructor. He changed his sarcastic attitude.

Dr. Grossman is incredibly arrogant. I was also very disappointed with the Botox shots I received for excessive sweating. They did nothing.

I've never written a review of a doctor before, but this experience was so outrageous, I need to write. I was warned by my primary doc, "Go see him, he's smart, but not the nicest person." Before even seeing him I can tell you his office staff is nasty and abrupt. I see many doctors (unfortunately) and have always remarked on how now nice the staff is. I saw him for a skin condition that marked my skin in an unflattering, ugly way. I was trying to get pregnant with my husband at the time. I asked him if it was OK to try and get pregnant with this condition/meds I was taking, and Dr. Grossman's word for word answer was, "Tell your husband to throw a sheet over you." and he walked out the door. I live in Westchester and there any MANY awesome doctors here. No need to see him. Arrogant, sexist and offensive.

Dr. Grossman is a true scholar and gentleman. I know first hand how his diagnostic skills have taught me, another Dermatologist pretty much everything i know and for that i am eternally grateful . He is a TOP notch clinician and if I had any questions about a diagnosis and treatment for a difficult Derm case , he would be THE Dr to go to. Thank you Dr. Grossman.!
