Dr. Marc David Irwin, MD

My wife was a patient of Dr. Irwin's until recently. The last four appointments she had, she was not seen by Dr. Irwin. A FNP-C was the one who saw my wife. After four visits with the FNP , NOT Dr. Irwin, my wife has had two blood tests, one breath analysis, one sonogram in Dr. Irwin's office, a mammogram and a sonogram at BSA, all requested by the FNP. The last visit the FNP referred my wife to Amarillo Surgical Group for a biopsy. Amarillo Surgical Group will not see my wife without a copy of the sonogram done at Dr. Irwin's office. I have contacted Dr. Irwin's office on four different occasions; three voice mails requesting a copy on the sonogram and talked to a person who stated she did not have access to the files and could not help me. She did not pass my request on to Dr. Irwin's office. Neither Dr. Irwin, nor his FNP-C, nor any member of his staff has made any attempt to contact me. Dr. Irwin is aware of my wife's medical issues, which I feel are serious issues, but still… will not assist me concerning the referral to A.S.G. I am very disappointed with Dr. Irwin, his FNP and his staff for not caring enough to at least return my attempt to contact him. In my opinion a patient with ANY medical issue SHOULD NOT BE TREATED THIS WAY!!! I am in the process of trying to find another PCP for my wife. I hope the next Dr. who sees my wife will be more caring that Dr. Irwin. If you read this review, please be very cautious if you decide to trust your health to someone as uncaring as Dr. Irwin, his FNP, and his staff.
