Actually, my rating is no stars! My 44-year old nephew, who was a polysubstance abuser, came to the emergency room complaining of excruciating pain everywhere and fevers up to 102 for the previous few days. He was moaning, a gutteral moan. A moan that is hard to fake. When he arrived to the ER, he was tachycardic with an extremely low blood pressure. Even I know that tachycardia with accompanying hypotension can mean shock and/or severe infection. What did this person do for my nephew? This person diagnosed my nephew with back pain and ordered a pain (an NSAID) injection and a physical therapy referral and discharged him home. He documented a differential diagnosis of "malingering", i.e., exaggerating or feigning symptoms to gain something. I'm sure this person decided all along that my nephew was drug seeking, even though my nephew never once asked for any pain medication. My nephew died 2 days later due to multiple organ failure associated with septic shock. My sister (his… mother) found him unresponsive in bed with soiled clothes and called an ambulance. He had infective endocarditis, a central nervous system infection, a blood infection, and urinary tract infection. He also had multiple subarachnoid hemorrhages and a right middle cerebral artery ischemic stroke. He required a thrombectomy and a decompressive craniectomy to relieve the pressure on his brain. Needless to say, he passed away soon after. All of this could have been avoided and my nephew could still be here today if this person would have done his job instead of passing judgement on someone he did not even know. My nephew was a beloved son, father, brother. He wanted so badly to get clean. I knew him his whole life and I can attest that he was a loving, kind, funny, intelligent person. He did not deserve to be treated the way he was by this person. No human being deserves this kind of treatment, drugs or no drugs. It makes me nauseous every time I think about it!!"

All of this could have been avoided and my nephew could still be here today if this person would have done his job instead of passing judgement on my nephew. My nephew was a beloved son, father, brother. He had problems that he was working on. But we all have our issues. That is no reason to be judged and dismissed. He wanted so badly to get clean. But being addicted to drugs is no reason to be treated this way, especially by a medical professional. It makes me nauseous every time I think about it!!

He dismissed everything I said like my problems didn't matter to him. I have had stomach issues for years and know my body. He didn't bother to do more than blood tests even after I told him I'd had blood tests before for this problem but that it was getting worse and worse no matter what I did or ate and I just wanted to get things figured out and back to my life. He has zero personality and a terrible bedside manner. He sent me home to suffer. Do not bother to go see him if you really want help

This rating is based on ER visit for one of my family members. I was there and was witness to very poor care by this Dr.

This doctor treated my mother. He was cold and his treatment of her was careless. He lectured her and sent her home. She died the next day. He never apologized. Don't trust this man with your loved ones.
