I had sever back pain for 2 years, Dr Kornfield and his counselor and physical therapist were very helpful given my condition. In fact his office and staff were able to help me getting back to doing things I love like working on my Harley, appreciate all their help.

Treated as suspect from day one. Had to fight to try to get adequate treatment and was STILL suffering with undertreated, relentless pain. Nurses are curt and the only trace of empathy comes from counselor and physical therapist. If you're seeking relief, don't look here. Your suffering will only be exacerbated.

Was ok, helped my son with his back pain , he is still going there and seems to enjoy the treatment he gets from the therapist and Dr Kornfield.

Dr. Marc Korfield has surrounded himself with many tools for Pain Management including Medication for pain administered to try to manage pain without risking inadvertent mishaps with careless patients to psychiatric counseling and group educational sessions and Physical Therapy. As well as equipment designed to measure and confirm the level of Nerve Damage if your pain is caused by conditions such as neuropathy to spinal cord damage among other injuries. He is vigilant in the use of his patients use of medication and combination of medication by other providers with the use of screening. He listens carefully to assess if patients are declining in their condition, have simply hit the plateau level of any given medication and can judge if a patient is simply looking for an increase if medication to abuse the medication or is actually working to lead the most comfortable life they can and restore mobility and a semblance of their lives before their injuries occurred. He is the #1… recommended pain management physician for the nearby WellStar facilities and Piedmont treatment centers as well as others in the Kennesaw area and beyond. Having established an unprecedented level of trust with physicians and specialists in the vast Medical network in the Kennesaw and Marietta areas. I am pleased to be under his care, and grateful that he listens carefully to what I have to say, respects the concept that I know best what I’m experiencing without belittling me in any way or flouting his education before me, but rather taking that time to help me understand what he believes is best for me. And then re-evaluating the effects during our next monthly session. Yep you must allow him time to evaluate how you are progressing or degenerating during each session. Dr Kornfield was very helpful with my fibromyalgia, body pain and medications. Dr Kornfield is definitely not the kind of physician that will just keep giving you pills for no reason. He makes you understand what he's prescribing to you, limits how much you get and unlike most Doctors he will lower your dosages. He requires you to see his counselor, and physical therapist to make you push yourself to being as he likes to say "functional" . I appreciate all I've learned and got out of coming to this clinic, and appreciate all the help I have received. If you are looking for a pill mill clown physician giving medicine for months at a time...this is NOT the place for you. If you are looking to get yourself together, and working to better yourself under Dr Kornfields protocol,and rules to help better yourself. Well this is the place for you.
