we are so appreciative of the effort and care given for my dad. we had confidence in his decisions. he has a great bedside manner that shows his compassion to keep us in- formed and as calm as possible in a difficult time. he has a great staff that rallied to give the best possible service and care.

Dr. Kruger found the issue with my Father quick (got a camera right down his windpipe and ordered specialist without hesitation). After dealing with a number of doctors all week, Dr. Kruger finally gave me hope. I felt this is a doctor that's straight with you, right to the point, fixes the problem with a patient in need, has sincere eyes you can trust, and believes in saving lives. He's not just there for a paycheck from my experience and vibes I got. I'm thankful for this doc and blessed he's around. My Dad's still alive -Tiff

I was diagnosed with Hodgekins Lymphoma in 2002, and underwent chemo and radiation. I experienced extreme toxicity from the chemo and it affected my lungs so I was sent to Dr Kruger. I was experiencing a lot personally as well. I had a teenage daughter, a husband who was cheating on me, my friends all said my cancer was "too much to see me like that" so I was very much alone. No one to talk to. (If there were any support groups, I didn't know about them, and I didn't have insurance-so no shrink) Dr Kruger had a way of making me feel like everything was going to be ok. His mannerisms, the way he touched me, I grew to trust him during a time I trusted NO ONE except my amazing Oncologist and his staff. Dr Kruger couldn't exactly tell what was going on with me, but put me on Prednisone until he could figure it out. It helped me be able to BREATHE! I was relieved. If ANYONE reading this has ever had to fight to just take a breath, you know what I'm saying. So, I go to my appointment one day… to be told Dr Kruger isn't in. I ask when he'll be back. After much digging, they tell me he just didn't show up to work that day and they can't reach him. I went downstairs to my Oncologists office, nothing. A week later. after hearing many rumors, I finally found out he JUST LEFT! Took some job in Hawaii! Screw his patients, right?! I was reassigned to a real jerk he worked with (I've told him to his face he's a jerk Dr Laprad of Brunswick, Maine) and all of the sudden Dr Kruger lost ALL credibility, and they took me off all the meds he prescribed. Within a few weeks of running out of meds, I CAN'T BREATHE! I finally begged my Oncologist to give them back to me (writing on a notepad, I couldn't even talk, and had to use a cane to walk) after telling Laprad (very slowly) what a jerk he is. It turns out I was allergic to one of the chemo meds. Discovered right before my last round. Because Dr Kruger left the way he did, he hurt a lot of patients. Not just me, I know others. I still have a very hard time trusting people, in part because of him. I think he really just proved he's in it for the money, and doesn't give a crap about people at all. A very talented actor, and a real piece of work.
