Dr. Marc Lieberman, MD

Dr Lieberman is very thorough and always pays attention, keeping up with the latert trends. I've been his patient for many years and he has helped me enormously with my RA.

I travel a long way to see Dr. Lieberman. He is worth it! I have been treated for about 3 years now. He listens to your concerns. He is dedicated to his patients.

Doctor, only in this office three days a week, until 11:30am. Getting prescription refills take too long. I have to sometimes, go a week without certain medications. Staff is normally cordial. Office time, waiting, is a little better than normal.

Dr.lieberman was ruining bring this morning , I'm in healthcare so I get that. But he barely said anything to me and I left with more questions than answers. Hoping my next visit will be more informative.

Dr Lieberman saved my teenage daughters life. He figured out which rare disease she had and treated it, no one else could do it. We are so grateful! She is now in remission!

Almost upon meeting him, Dr Lieberman started to sell me on the need for repeated surgery to relieve IOP due to glaucoma. He cited a case of a patient who underwent 20 such operations--leaving the impression that numerous operations is OK. I seek another doctor because I was concerned by his single minded approach. In contrast, this leading glaucoma specialist (he chairs a foundation for glaucoma research in SF) took exactly the opposite tack, cautioning that the best outcome is usually limited to the initial surgery. His experience is that outcome tend to get worse with excessive surgery. Also SF doctor only practices in the field of glaucoma, while Dr Marc L. practice is all over the map.

Dr. Lieberman has been my parents' primary care physician for many years. I have always found him to be caring, willing to help, accessible by phone and responsive to calls and letters. This has all been in the Monterey office. He has one office/medical assistant who works very, very hard to do all she has to and still remains friendly and helpful.

He seems to push meds on patients instead of actually helping the patient and telling the patient how to help themselves feel better. Forgets what meds he puts you on, you tell him what is wrong with you and he seems to not care. Office staff unprofessional

I think Dr. Liberman is a very nice doctor but on the same hand i think he can have a better bedside manner and be more prompt in the front office operations
