i read about his credentials and i'm glad i didn't read them before i saw him. just shows that there's nothing like PERSONAL judgement. dr. mayer is well-informed, well-mannered and caring. i've been seeing him for 25 years and can't say enough good things about him. he is a good, basic, old fashioned family practitioner who knows when to refer you to a specialist, which is exactly what i wanted. he keeps track of my well-being and blood work as well as my boo-boos and sniffles, but when it comes to heart problems he knows enough to send me to a cardiologist. he takes time to talk to me and learn of life changes. just an excellent doctor. i recommend him highly.
