Dr. Marc Moon has performed 3 valve replacements on me, Aortic valve replacements that is. He has saved my life every single time. This man works around the clock and continues to do what he does best, save lives of others. He never stops. For those people saying he has no bedside manner, I mean, he has way too many patients. He's constantly going. He does what God has sent him here to do and I am so greatful for you Dr. Moon. It's because of you, that I will be seeing another year! 38 in Sept, and it's 2023! I will not ever let another surgeon operate on me. Your the best and I appreciate all of your hard work. You have been a blessing for me and my family.

Dr. Moon perfomed a complicated heart surgery on my friend's heart 16 years ago. My friend had Marfan Syndrome and his life was saved because of Dr. Moon's expertise and compassion.

Lower leg pain prompted my Mom to pursue diagnosis and the results of an 4 months later evidenced blockages that qualified correction by surgery were seen in her abdomen, heart, and hips. Also seen was a 100% blockage in a tibia. The decision was made to correct a heart murmur and to bypass 2 vessels, but in surgery the decision was made to clean the vessels after valve replacement. Swelling of her heart delayed surgery completion and one side of her heart failed. Mom had a living will and has joined her siblings and parents. A prior surgery supports Mom's vessels to be difficult to work on and she was a smoker in her 80's we learned to be a bad combination from the ICU.

I consulted with Dr. Moon before scheduling surgery for a thoracic aortic aneurysm. He provided concise, highly informed advice that enabled me to decide in favor of life-changing surgery. Later, he performed the surgery with great skill, which enabled a speedy recovery for me. Through the process, his staff advocated for me with the insurance company and kept me informed at all times.

My husband was admitted to Barnes Hospital's cardiac unit through the ER in congestive heart failure. Besides classic blockages, his mitral valve was leaking badly. We did not pick Dr. Moon--he was selected for us through the hospital's triage procedures, probably because of his superior technical skills around valve repair. Moon explained the surgery and kept me from going nuts over the 10-day period when my husband would not come out from under anesthesia. He's a first-rate physician with a refreshing lack of arrogance. I told him we'd be back for my bypass operation in 5 years and he was not allowed to retire before then!

Pushed through visit after waiting an hour and a half to see him. Came in and out of the room 6 times during my visit -- answering pages, taking phone calls, tending to other patients.

Jain for referring my husband to this wonderful, talented group for Aortic Valve replacement and Bypass surgery. My husband's case was complicated by his past health hx of Hodgkins with radiation, Dr Moon was able to replace his aortic valve and do a bypass with great success. Dr Moon & Team saved my husband's life, Thank You!

I am very disappointed in both Dr. Moon & Barnes Hospital. My mother was transferred to Barnes because we were told Dr. Moon was the top of the field. That could be true. But her experience thus far has been unacceptable. She has been prepped for surgery 3 days in a row and laid for hours to be told not today. My sister & 1 brother have lost work to be with her. And they were told now Dr Moon will call them when he is ready for her surgery. I do not feel Dr. Moon or Barnes have the patients best interest and this is definitely a good example of BAD MANAGEMENT!!!! Neither will be recommended by this family!!!!
