Dr. Marc Obadia, MD

the office billing leaves a lot to be desired. They take the copy of my insurance card which clearly states the office visit in network specialist co-pay at $40 but they invariably submit the claim as an out-of-network visit. Why don't they disclose if he was thrown out of the network?

The absolute easiest part of any business to control and assure quality is communication. This doctor's office is the Tower of Babel of doctor's offices with regard to communication. I am suffering an horrible illness and simply attempting to contact the doctor's office is like trying to see the Wizard of Oz. The shame is that Dr. Obadia is an affable guy with great credentials. Why would anyone who has invested a lifetime of preparation into their career allow their "face" team represent them so poorly?

I would never go back to this doctor because his staff doesnt seem to be able to pick up the phone nor check voicemail messages left during normal business hours. If you have any serious issues - do not support this place. I had serious heartburn and after an endoscopy, was unable to go to work and was NOT able to get in touch with anyone on Dr. Obadia's staff after leaving numerous voicemail during normal business hours/during the week. And forget about trying to get copies of your results after he ran them - I had to call for a week before someone finally picked up the phone and I notified her that I was coming to the office to finally get my results. My new doctor also said he would call for me since this seems to be their reputation. After going to another doctor - I will never suggest coming to DOCS again. They do not care about the patients and you will feel like just a number.

This doc never follows up w/ his patience. After medical tests, he doesnt provide info to his patience, like he knows about the medical problem but his patience has a little info.
