Dr. Marc Osborne, MD

Dr. Marc C. Osborne is a dual board-certified colon and rectal surgeon at Colon and Rectal Surgery Associates, a division of Minnesota Oncology, certified by the American Board of Colon and Rectal Surgery and the American Board of Surgery. He earned his undergraduate degree and his medical degree from the University of Minnesota. Dr. Osborne completed his comprehensive general surgery residency training at Hennepin County Medical Center in Minneapolis, completed fellowship training in surgical critical care at the University of Hawaii in Honolulu, and completed his subspecialty fellowship in colon and rectal surgery at the University of Minnesota. He is an active member of Alpha Omega Alpha, the American College of Surgeons, the American Society of Colon and Rectal Surgeons, and the Hitchcock Society.

Clinically, Dr. Osborne provides expert evaluation and advanced operative management for complex colorectal diseases. His clinical practice highlights laparoscopic and robotic colon and …rectal surgery, the multimodal surgical treatment of colon and rectal cancer, and advanced operative care for inflammatory bowel disease, including Crohn’s disease and ulcerative colitis. In addition, Dr. Osborne provides diagnostic and therapeutic colonoscopy, manages complex anorectal diseases, and leads initiatives centered on quality improvement in surgery. By combining robotic precision with clinical quality protocols, he strives to minimize operative complications, reduce postoperative recovery periods, and ensure superior surgical standards.
