Dr. Marc Ovadia, MD

My 12 year old daughter is a patient of Dr Ovadia’s& when i found out about her condition i was anxious, but in no time Dr Ovadia put our minds at ease. Ive never met a Dr like him, hes very fatherly, has the best bedside manner ive ever encountered & he has a wonderful sense of humor! In no time my daughter & I felt 100% comforted& reassured! He never rushed while she was inpatient, he has such a good heart& is the best Doctor and person ive ever met. He is as genuine as they come& i thank God for Dr Ovadia& that my little girl is in the absolute BEST HANDS. Its an honor to know him, my daughter has been under his care for over a year& She is seriously wanting to be a Cardiologist, like Dr Ovadia. I think shes quite enamored with him. She says she wants to help people with heart problems, she looks up to him. I do too!! Its an honor knowing Dr Ovadia. The kindest, most patient man ive ever met& proud my daughter chooses him as a role model.His staff? also, the very best. Dr.Ovadia… saved my daughters life. Its a pleasure knowing him.

I've been a patient of his since I was 13yrs old an he has always been there for me as well as his staff they all are a God sent...I literally trust him with my life an I pray he's able to help other's for many more year's just the way he an his staff has helped me for so long...I wouldn't change a thing about him or his crew they are the appsolute best any person in this world could ask for an I thank God every single day that he brought Dr. Ovadia an his staff into my life.

Excellent, caring, kind and very patient doctor.

We just saw Dr. Ovadia with my Oldest. My Oldest Son has P.O.T.S. and mitochondria disease among other medical issues. He truly listens to complaints, symptoms etc. I've never met a more thoural Cardio than him. He went through my Sons medical history along with his siblings who will also be seeing him. I like the plan he has. It will be a long lengthy process to get him more controlled due to his complex medical issues and finding a balance with everything. I love that he works well with the Boys specialists and likes them a lot along with pur PCP. I also like the fact he will be reaching out to them personally to keep the Docs working as a team and not expecting me to be the in go between person. Love love love this about Dr. Ovadia. He's so funny, compassionate and very caring. He had my Oldest smiling and that alone says a lot about the quality of Doc he is. Can't say enough about him. Awesome Doc!

Dr. Ovadia isn't a top 10 doctor. He is the top doctor. His warmth, kindness, care, attention to detail, and support is nothing short of amazing. I could take my son to see local doctors nearer to where we are, but regardless of where i live, even if it's across the globe, he's the only cardiologist I can ever trust with my son. You'll be challenged to find any better doctor, but more importantly, a caring human being.

Dr. Ovadia was referred to us by a family whose son had the same condition as my 11 year old son. They raved about him as being a gentle, caring, funny, humble and skilled surgeon. After consulting with him we found that he was all that and more. He stayed and talked to us for over 2 1/2 hours answering every question we had and informing us of our choices and the ultimate procedure that our son would have to undergo. We decided to go ahead with the surgery to rectify his WPW with an ablation and after a 6 hour procedure and minor complications, he has recovered and is totally free of his WPW. He will continue to have follow ups every 5 years but we expect our son to have a totally normal and carefree life. We are very grate full for doctors like Dr. Ovadia who truly cares for not only the patient but the entire family. Dr. Ovadia is what every doctor should be like! Thank You!

This doctor failed to inform patients that a lead he had implanted numerous times had been recalled by the manufacturer. In addition, the FDA has issued a notice that physicians must x-ray patients with this lead, and this doctor has failed to inform patients about this precaution, or take measures to protect them. Google an article titled "Many patient with a defibrillator face a dilemma" in the New York Times (Sept 2012) and read for yourself.

It does take a while to get an appointment, and the wait time can be long, but considering what wonderful care and bedside manner he has, it is not a surprise, and is well worth the wait. It was hard for me to give him anything less than a 4 in any category. He has helped to keep my son and wife alive...I could give him no higher recommendation as both a Doctor and a human..

I am reviewing this doctor not only for myself, but 2 of my siblings and my mother as well. Most importantly....he cares! When my mother called him with a concern about something that was happening with me, he called my personal cell phone instead of talking to me through her. I've trusted him with my well-being several times, and I will continue to do so.

Dr. Ovadia is absolutely wonderful. He is my 14-year old daughter's cardiologist and is great with her. He completely knows what he's doing and relates well to both parents and kids. I highly recommend him.
