Dr. Marc Issac Raphaelson, MD

Have known this doc since before he went into private practice. He is one of the kindest and most genuine doctors I have ever known. Glad to hear he is now affiliated with the VA. Our veterans deserve the best care and that is what Marc consistently provides?

Dr. Raphaelson is very careful and meticulous. He will carefully listen to you and compartmentalize each piece of information of the patients perceived symptom. Only after listening and asking pertinent questions will he discuss the experienced symptoms and potential causes. Even if the tests to determine the specific issues are not conclusive, Dr. Raphaelson will not assume that the symptoms are imagined. He will research each case independently and respective to the nature of the difficulty they cause the patient. He knows his profession and has an excellent "bedside manner." His staff is courteous and professional, they will try to accommodate even difficult appointment requests despite the doctor's busy schedule due to him working multiple locations during the month. I would refer ANYONE to seek his care in his professional field. I am VERY happy with the care and attention I get from this doctor.

Dr. Raphealson is a great doctor. Works with me to obtain a good dosage of medication and the right medication that won't cause other side effects that need more drugs. However, his staff seems to pass off as much of the duties that office staff perform at every other doctors office such as coordinating precertification with health insurance, leaving messages on voice mail/answering machines, coordinating with pharmacies, etc. And when you request assistance, the staff gets extremely passive aggressive and at times, snotty over the phone; as if you are inconveniencing them when asking them to do the work that is usually expected out of doctor admin staff.

He was very professional, extremely knowledgeable, patiently explained the condition using diagrams, and presented all the therapy options. He even included some anecdotal comments on his own experiences in using the products he prescribes. Though thoroughly professional, he ended up being very personable at the same time. His explanations and general discussion cohered with much of what I'd come up with on my own in researching my problem and the solutions.
