Dr. Marc Rasansky, MD

My daughter Velma Moore who is deceased now loved, absolutely loved Dr Marc Rasansky. And I believe her. I was a worker at Aurora Sinai for 15 years. He were caring and concerned and yes prayed for her. I would like him for my doctor but he's pulmonary.

He's a great guy, knows his 'stuff', takes the time to explain things clearly.His staff is helpful, courteous, friendly. Office is clean...The staff in the testing areas are equally as professional. Give him a call, you won't be sorry.

I have known Dr. Rasansky for many years. As a medical professional I know he is significantly better than most of the other pulmonary clinicians in the area. When I read the negative comments, I am truly annoyed. Anyone can say anything about anyone and there is no place for a response. There are no rules that morons cannot use the internet. For a really expert opinion see Dr. Rasansky. He is excellent.

At first I really liked him and thot he knew his 'stuff',that was after the first two appointments. The third appt. he stressed I should be tube fed because of my swallowing problem. He was afraid food would go into my lungs (aspiration). I had previous swallow test results sent there and I did not aspirate, have not aspirated and when I do, I'll consider the tubal portion of his diagnosis. Why would I want to be tube fed if I don't have to be?The other part is a lesion in my lung. The first two appts. were preceded by a CT scan to keep an eye on the size of it. The third was an x-ray and follow up is one year later. I have been radiated, my chances for cancer are greater and he wants me to wait a year. I think not. Another thing is he never fully explained what exactly is entailed with a paralyzed diaphragm, which I have. I'm moving on for a second opinion, I'm not sure who I'll see but I'm going to see someone. Dr. R is highly educated, has a good bedside manner and is kind and… considerate but I feel left in the dark too much about my health. One other thing I really didn't care for is that he called me 'honey'. GADS! Maybe that's just him but it's not me.

The negative comment about Dr. Rasansky is an aberration--you don't get any more caring than he is and he is outstanding diagnostically.

Dr. Rasansky has NO people skills. He isvery nasty, has difficulty looking you in the eye, dismissed us without as much as a good-bye, and has done NO follow up of anything he said he was going to do. NEVER, ever going back. And to think we waited almost 4 weeks to get a new patient appointment for that treatment is ridiculous.
