Dr. Marc Joseph Rigatti, MD

Dr. Regatti was very kind, patient, and through with me. His bedside manner was excellent. He treated my aseptic meningitis and it resolved. He offered to transfer me to a larger hospital for a more intense work up but we both felt I was safe to go home. I requested just a one night admission in case things amped up again but the hospitalist didn’t feel comfortable admitting me with all my complicated medical issues. Dr. Regatti was very kind and attentive and spent a great deal of time with me. He absolutely involved me in all decision making. I went home and felt better however the aseptic meningitis led me straight into a bad adrenal crisis. I ended up in Harrington Hospital for 5 days and I’m still very sick. Overall I was impressed with Dr. Regatti. On an interesting side note, our town paper happened to show he just bought land in the town where I live. In fact it looks like Dr Regatti has lived just around the corner from me for 6 years. He never mentioned we were… neighbors lol!

Went in for eye pain and eyelid swelling. Was scolded and treated with disgust and condescension and told it seemed fine and I could go with no testing done. I had to request a test such as eye pressure was checked, as he refused to do anything to determine the cause of pain. He said ok and that he wouldn't be discussing anything further if the test was negative. This man is clearly in the wrong field as he demonstrated zero skill and a complete lack of interest or caring to the root cause of my pain. I was discharged with the reason for my visit listed as left eyelid pain and the diagnosis as pain of left eyelid. I was admitted for eyelid swelling and eyeball pain- I can only assume he was covering his tracks if something is in fact wrong with my eye.

The worst experience I have had with an ER physician. He raised his voice when I had a question. Also he stormed off as if he was a child that did not get his way. Unbelievable. Dr. Rigatti is a bad representative of the hospital.

Horrible disregarded my medical history and felt like my pain wasn’t valid enough to be in the hospital. Had an attitude anytime i expressed pain

Made me feel like my pain and frustration was not valid. Made me feel small and showed no empathy and didn't wanna go through giving me other tests so he went on about how painful it would be if I did do other tests. Discharged me in an hour from the hospital because he did not think i was "dying". Even though my urine sample was all bad and showed proof of care for the patient. Disappointed is not even the word. "Doctors" like this should never be near patients. Be careful.
