Dr. Marc Alan Scheer, DO

Dr. Scheer is by far the best at what he does! I love how he takes time to get to know me, and explain my diagnosis further than what's on paper.

I have seen Dr. Scheer several times for a couple different issues. When I needed Xifaxan and my insurance did not cover it (it is EXTREMEY expensive), he made sure I received free samples to cover the duration of the treatment twice. He also provided me free samples of another medication for the same problem. When my gastroparesis flared greatly and I lost 30 lb. in 6 weeks, he and my PCP kept in very close communication and when I went to see him he expressed that he had been thinking about my condition and how to treatment it throughout the week leading up to the appointment. He has always expressed concern and listened well when I have seen him. A nurse anesthetist who works with him and is a member of my church shared that he is one of her favorite doctors to work with because of how respectful he is. I have nothing negative to say about him.

The ratings on this site appear distorted because a high number of satisfied patients do not complete reviews. The results are therefore skewed down and not accurate. I had a routine colonoscopy exam this morning by Dr. Scheer. He and his staff were totally professional every step of the way. I was briefed before and after with opportunities to ask any questions I had. Pain and discomfort during and after was non-existent. The nurses made sure I was comfortable. Very satisfied and highly recommend.

Dr. Scheer is the first doctor to diagnose my problem correctly. I am most grateful for his expertise and his caring demeanor.
