Dr. Marc J Shulman, PsyD

Dr. Shulman is great. Very calming presence that I really appreciate and his insight into my anxiety and depression was profound. I was really surprised how unique his views were, but in a way that really rang true for my own psychological challenges. Dr. Shulman is a great therapist and I would recommend him to anyone on Long Island.

I know from experience how hard it is to find a couples counselor and therapist on Long Island worth trusting, mostly because a lot of them still use Freud methods which I read for a logng time was quacky. Dr. Shulman was really good, and different. There were a lot of things to like butg what I liked most was that he seemed to have insight and ideas. It wasn't like just making me talk all the time, but instead it was more in depth, detailed, with strategies and the like. I would definitely recommend him as a psychologist or marriage counselor for people in or around Garden City.
