Dr. Marc Anthony Subik, MD

I was referred by my PCP for an endoscopy due to stomach pain and GERD for 5+ years despite having been on Zantac, Nexium, Prilosec, etc. Just before he came in for the procedure (never met the man in my life before that), he asked why I was having the EGD and I explained. He said that it didn't sound severe enough that I should need an endoscopy but said we'd do it anyway. If I could have got up off the table and hadn't already had the med to put me out, I would not have had the procedure by HIM. Extremely rude and condescending provider. Would not recommend!

I have never in my life seen a Dr so rude, he makes sure you know (of course without saying so ) that you are wasting his time..I was sent by my primary Dr..Never again and I mean never again will Charleston Gastroenterology Associates get my business..He thought I was asleep, but sorry I wasn't and yes I heard you..You are a vile unhappy man who will soon run your course...The review here that said he was good must have been paid or his mother...He of course told me to take OTC medicine..Seems to be his choice of remedy...Sad that this is what we are offered..When did Dr's just really quit caring?

I saw Dr. Sub ok after waiting for quite a while to get an appointment due to pain I had been experiencing for many months. After a while wait in his office he came in and literally disregaurded everything I was explaining to him and was rushing me. Then he gets me on the table for an exam where he proceeds to spend less than 20 seconds to tell me there is nothing wrong gastric wise with me and tells me to take over the counter meds. (After I had already told him I have taken meds and nothing has helped) he was rude and did not care or listen to the concern of his patient. I do not recommend him.

I saw Dr. Marc Subik last year, 2015. After waiting in his office for over an hour for my appointment, he gave me 1 minute of his time. He was very brisk, acted like I was taking up his valuble time, and his 'bedside manner' is atrocious. I have never met a more rude person, let alone a supposedly professional. And was quick to prescribe medications just to pacify me. (I had to ask his nurse what the medication was prescribed for.) Thankfully, I was referred by a friend to a gastroenterologist, Dr. Eastone, in Huntington, WV, who is every thing Dr. Subik isn't. Under Dr. Eastone care, I learned the medication that Subik prescribed to me was not conducive to my treatment. Fortunately, I was able to receive excellent care from Dr. Eastone and the medications he prescribed has eased my gastic symptoms.

I was referred to Dr. Subik from my primary dr., He was one of the rudest doctors I have been to, he acted like I was wasting his time I was trying to give him my history and he didn't want to hear it. He gave me a 10 second exam, I am not exaggerating, he told me to buy medicine over the counter and sent me on my way.

Dr. Subik went beyond expectations in contacting me and diagnosing my problem. His attitude is both professional and sincere. He takes time to discuss problems and solutions. I highly recommend him.
