Dr. Marc William Weise, MD

My mother just had surgery last Thursday, she is in pain and nauseous! NO ONE from his office is contacting her. No one is returning her phone calls. This is totally unacceptable!

This office is now a money mill ! RUN ! In and out, no time to talk to the patient. We asked for an MRI and something for the swelling. After two days his office help ( his wife ) told us she couldn't find where to get AUTHORIZATION and we should just pay for it OUT OF POCKET because the Dr. ( her husband ) said that my wife didn't even need the MRI THAT LATER SHOWED A TORN MENISCUS AND REQUIRES SURGERY ! My wife took all of ten minutes to find out No AUTHORIZATION NEEDED and got the MRI appointment. As for his diagnosis of just nerve pain and his pain prescription for that, there was no problem sent it right out. But as for something for the swelling ??? His staff told us he doesn't prescribe anything until after surgery. All of this is very disappointing as he was a good Dr. when he did my surgery years ago. Time to retire !

I have been going to see him for over ten years. He is the best dr. I first went to him for a second opinion, the over doctor i went to said i needed surgery and he told me i didn't. He was right. He did partal knee replacement on both my knees, Iam now walking with out a cane.

Wow I don't believe what just happened to me. This was my 1st visit to see Dr.weise.I did even get past the receptionist desk when she tells me I have the wrong insurance card.its was a new card that I had just gotten.so I ask if they would email my Doctor and get a copy of my old insurance card. Both the older ladies in the office said they don't do emails it would have to fqxed.I got a fax number for them since they would go off of there way too help.This is the best part.The receptionist says this phone number doesn't work.no answers. BECAUSE IT'S A FAX LINE.

Dr. Weise has been my orthopedic surgeon for over 20 years: carpal tunnel surgeries on both hands, total knee replacement for both knees and many other assorted problems with my hip and shoulders. He also took care of my husband - and as the team doctor for the San Luis Obispo High School football team, our grandson! He thoroughly explains each step along the way to recovery and meets his patient's needs and concerns with gentle compassion. He is an excellent doctor!

I saw Dr. Weise for a torn tricep tendon. The day after the injury I was in surgery for the repair. Could not have been faster. I was so grateful that he "fit me in". The surgery went well and I am healing fast. I only have high praises for Dr. Weise. From the friendly and efficient office staff to the doctor himself, this is a first rate operation. I never felt rushed when seeing Dr. Wiese, he was always very easy going, patient and took the time to explain things in detail. I recommend him with out hesitation.

Very caring and compassion for your care. Listens to what you have to say. Never rushes his appointments. Dr. Weise makes you feel like your a family member and really wants to help you. Fantastic bed side manners. Best Doctor I have had for hospital care.

I had and have every confidence in his abilities. He explains all procedures fully and explains any options. I can't say enough good things about him and his entire staff.

Dr. Weise was extremely thorough and friendly. Overall, good experience.

I'm sorry to say but based on both my visits with this doctor and the comments he made in my presence, it is my opinion that Dr. M. Wies is very narcissistic and finds no appreciation for others professional worth or skills. HE can only be right. Nope not going back to him.
